Mr. Allen Baharaff has been the Chief Executive Officer of Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. since January 2012 and has been its President since March 2015. Mr. Baharaff co-founded the Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 2000. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of GHI since 2000 and as Chief Executive Officer since January 2012. Prior to which, he held a number of senior executive positions, including a Senior Vice President position at Isramex Projects Ltd. and Managing Director of T+M Trusteeship & Management Services (Israel) Ltd., a subsidiary of a Swiss company providing trust and similar services. Since 2001, he serves as a Director of the Tel-Aviv Museum of Arts, chairing its educational activities and since 2005, he serves as a Director of the Rubin Museum Since 1993, he has been a member of the Israel Bar Association. Mr. Baharaff serves as a Director at Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Baharaff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the London School of Economics, University of London and LLB and LLM degrees from Cambridge University.

Mr. Yohai Stenzler, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer and Controller of Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd., since February 1, 2017 and June 2014 respectively.

Mr. Guy Nehemya has been Vice President of Operations at Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. since March 2017. Mr. Nehemya joined Galmed Pharmaceuticals in October 2013 as the Director of Operations, after completing his internship at Agmon, Rosenberg, HaCohen & Co. Law Offices. He was a key member of management during the Company's initial public offering and execution thereof. Mr. Nehemya, holds a LL.B. from the College of Management. Mr. Nehemya has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2012.

Dr. Liat Hayardeny, Ph.D., MBA has been Chief Scientific Officer at Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. since September 7, 2016. Dr. Hayardeny joined Galmed with 16 years of experience in drug development in the global R&D division at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she served as Senior Director, Head of Research Scientific Affairs. In that capacity, she established the scientific positioning of Teva's major innovative compounds. In addition, Dr. Hayardeny managed Teva's global research collaborations, as well as publications. Dr. Hayardeny holds a Ph.D. from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University.
