Mr. Avi Goldin has been the Chief Financial Officer of Genie Energy Ltd. since August 2011 and also serves as its Treasurer. Mr. Goldin served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at IDT Corporation from May 2009 to October 2011. He originally joined IDT in January 2004 and held several positions within IDT and its affiliates before leaving to join CayComm Media Holdings, a privately backed telecommunications acquisition fund, where he served as Vice President, Finance. He rejoined IDT in May 2009. Prior to joining IDT, Mr. Goldin served as an Investment Analyst at Dreman Value Management, a $7 billion asset management firm and an Associate in the Satellite Communications group at Morgan Stanley & Co. He was Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley, Research Division. Mr. Goldin holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University, a BA in Finance from the Syms School of Business of Yeshiva University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Mr. Michael C. Jonas has been Chief Executive Officer of Genie Oil Development at Genie Energy Ltd. since May 2015. Mr. Jonas has been an Executive Vice President of Genie Energy Ltd. since May 2014 and its Director of Global Exploration and Business Development since August 2014. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Genie Mongolia, Inc. since May 2015. Mr. Jonas is responsible for all of the Company's business development in Mongolia. Mr. Jonas was employed at IDT Corporation and held various positions including Analyst from November 2005 to December 2011 and also served as its Vice President and Manager of International Business. He has been the Executive Chairman of the Board at Zedge, Inc. since October 2017 and served as its Chairman of the Board from November 14, 2016 to October 2017. He has served as Director of Genie Mongolia since its inception in October 2012. He has served as Executive Vice President of Genie Oil Shale Mongolia LLC since April 2013. He has served as Executive Vice President of Israel Energy Initiatives Ltd. since February 2011. He has served as Director of Israel Energy Initiatives Ltd. since March 2010. He has served as Director of Afek Oil and Gas Ltd. since November 2011. He has served as Director of Genie Oil Shale Mongolia LLC since April 2013. He has been a Director of Zedge, Inc. since May 23, 2016. Mr. Jonas is a founding member of Mongolian Oil Shale Association.

Dr. Harold Vinegar, Ph.D. has been the Chief Scientist of Israel Energy Initiatives, Ltd (IEI) at Genie Energy Ltd. since December 2008 and served as its Chief Scientist. Prior to this, Dr. Vinegar served as the Chief Scientist of Physics at Royal Dutch Shell. He spent 32 years at Shell's Bellaire Technology Center in Texas working on novel hydrocarbon exploration and production technologies. He has spent almost 30 years in developing novel thermal recovery processes to unconventional resources. Dr. Vinegar is a co-inventor of Shell's In situ Conversion and In situ Upgrading Processes (ICP and IUP) that have been piloted successfully in Colorado oil shale and Alberta tar sands. Dr. Vinegar served as a Member of Strategic Advisory Board at Genie Energy Ltd. He was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 1999, cited ???for contributions to the science and technology of oil exploration and environmental remediation, particularly thermal methods for extracting hydrocarbons from the ground and for applications of NMR methods to well logging.??? In addition, Dr. Vinegar has published over 270 patents and 50 publications in fields such as the complex conductivity of shaly sands; Xray CT, NMR spectroscopy and NMR imaging of cores; NMR well logging; microseismic imaging of hydraulic fractures; and wireless power and communications for intelligent wells. In 2005, he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. Dr. Vinegar received his BA in Physics from Columbia University and his MA and PhD degrees in Physics from Harvard University.

Mr. Efraim Eitam, also known as Effie, served as the President of Genie Energy International until February 2013. Since joining Genie in Israel in 2009, Mr. Eitam has been key in initiating and developing all of Genie Energy's activities in Israel, bringing extensive experience in management, strategic leadership and government relations. Prior to joining Genie Energy, he was a Leader of the National Religious Party and later the National Union Party, serving as a Member of the Knesset (Israel's parliament) from 2002 to 2009, where he served as the Minister of National Infrastructure from 2002 to 2003 and Minister of Housing and Construction from 2003 to 2004. He has been the Chairman of Genie Israel Holdings, Ltd. He is a Brigadier General (reserves) in the Israel Defense Forces. He earned Israel's Medal of Distinguished Service for his valor in the Yom Kippur War. He also participated in Operation Entebbe, the successful hostage rescue mission by Israel's Defense Forces on July 4th, 1976. Mr. Eitam received his M.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Haifa University. He also Graduated from the Royal College of Defense Studies with Highest Honors (M.A.).
