Mr. Andrew Stephen Rosen, also known as Andy, has been an Executive Vice President of Graham Holdings Company since April 01, 2014. Mr. Rosen has been the Chief Executive Officer of Kaplan, Inc. since August 28, 2015. Mr. Rosen served as the Chief Executive Officer of Kaplan Asia Pacific of Kaplan Education Pty Limited. He was a Staff Attorney for The Washington Post newspaper of The Washington Post Company since 1986. Mr. Rosen served as an Assistant Counsel of to Newsweek since 1988 before joining Grayer at Kaplan in 1992. Before joining The Washington Post Company, he served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Levin H. Campbell and Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, in Boston. He has been the Chairman of Kaplan, Inc. since April 2014. He serves as a Director of Enterprise Florida, Inc. Mr. Rosen holds an AB degree from Duke University and a JD from Yale Law School.

Mr. Scot Gillespie has been the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Graham Holdings Company since January 3, 2017. Mr. Gillespie manages the Post's engineering team and be responsible for building on the initial success of The Post's Arc platform. Mr. Gillespie joined The Post from W. W. Grainger (NYSE: GWW), where he served as Vice President of Engineering. He led software development and engineering operations for Grainger's consumer- and business-facing systems, including their innovations labs and Grainger online, which produced more than $9 billion in annual revenue combined. Under his leadership, the engineering teams helped grow Grainger's digital business from 23% of company revenue to more than 50%, as well as built digital eCommerce platforms across four countries. Mr. Gillespie holds a BS in Information Systems from National Louis University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Mr. Wallace R. Cooney, also known as Wally, has been Senior Vice President of Finance at Graham Holdings Company since April 29, 2017. Mr. Cooney has been the Chief Accounting Officer at Graham Holdings Company (formerly The Washington Post Company) since June 11, 2008 and its Chief Financial Officer since March 31, 2017. Mr. Cooney served as Vice President of Finance at Graham Holdings Company since June 11, 2008 until April 29, 2017. Mr. Cooney served as Controller of Graham Holdings Company since joining in 2001 until 2008. Mr. Cooney served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at WP Company LLC. From 1997 to 2001, he served as Director of Consolidation Accounting and Financial Reporting at Gannett Co., Inc. He began his career with Price Waterhouse LLP in 1985 and served for three years in The Hague, The Netherlands from 1991 to 1994 and as a Senior Manager from 1994 to 1997. He serves as a Member of Standing Advisory Group at Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). He is a Certified Public Accountant and Member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants, Finance Executives International (FEI) and International Newspapers Financial Executives (INFE). Mr. Cooney graduated from Lafayette College in 1985, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business.

Ms. Nicole Marie Maddrey has been a Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Graham Holdings Company (formerly, The Washington Post Company) since April 2015. Ms. Maddrey joined Graham Holdings Company in August 2007 as Associate General Counsel. She served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of WP Company LLC. Previously, she served as attorney-advisor and later as special counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Corporation Finance, from 1996 to 2001. From 1992 to 1996, she was an Associate in the law firm of Miles & Stockbridge, PC, in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Maddrey received a BA in communications from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Mr. Emilio Garcia-Ruiz serves as Managing Editor for Digital at Graham Holdings Company (alternatively The Washington Post Company) and previously as its Managing Editor of Digital, Video and Presentation Departments. Mr. Garcia-Ruiz began his career at Graham Holdings in 1987 as a night copy editor in the Sports section. He left in 1990 and became sports editor of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, where he directed Pulitzer Prize-winning pieces about academic fraud in the University of Minnesota men's basketball program. Later he worked at the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Times. He returned to Graham Holdings in 2001 and two years later became assistant managing editor for sports news. He later served a stint as assistant managing editor for local news and as editor for strategic projects. Mr. Garcia-Ruiz attended the University of Maryland.

Mr. Shailesh Prakash serves as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Digital Product Development at Graham Holdings Company. Mr. Prakash expands his focus and deepen The Post's ties with technology partners, charting The Post's expanding product and technology roadmap over a longer time horizon. He spends more time with the Audience Development and Data Science teams as data becomes an increasingly important tool in growing The Post's national and international audiences.

Ms. Marilyn W. Thompson serves as Editor of Washington Accountability of Graham Holdings Company (formerly, The Washington Post Company). Ms. Thompson served as Editor of the Lexington (KY) Herald-Leader at Knight-Ridder, Inc. since July 1, 2004. She worked at Lexington Herald-Leader and was a reporter and editor at the Post. Ms. Thompson joined Graham Holdings in 1990 as a government reporter and served as its metropolitan projects editor in 1991. She was deputy national editor for domestic coverage at Graham Holdings in 1992. She was named investigations editor at Graham Holdings and in 1999 was named AME in charge of the investigative team. She began her journalism career as a reporter at The Columbia (S.C.) Record. In 1982, she was named a Congressional Fellow by the American Political Science Association and went to the Philadelphia Daily News as a reporter. She joined The New York Daily News in 1986 as a reporter, was named assistant city editor for investigations in 1987 and transferred to the newspaper's Washington, D.C., bureau in 1988. She taught a seminar at Princeton University sponsored by the Council for the Humanities. Her most recent book is The Killer Strain: Anthrax and A Government Exposed. Ms. Thompson earned a bachelor's degree in English at Clemson University in 1974.

Mr. Marcel A. Snyman has been Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Graham Holdings Co. since January 18, 2018. Mr. Snyman was Controller at Graham Holdings Company since May 6, 2017 and served as its Assistant Controller until May 6, 2017. Mr. Snyman joined Graham Holdings Company (then The Washington Post Company) in July 2008 as director of accounting policy. Previously, Mr. Snyman, a certified public accountant and chartered accountant, spent 12 years in the assurance services of Big 4 accounting firms auditing manufacturing, automotive, mining, telecom and venture capital-backed companies. Mr. Snyman began his career with KPMG South Africa in 1997, before moving to the United States in 2003, where he most recently worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP as a senior manager in McLean, VA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Financial Executives International (FEI), where he serves as an alternate on the Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR). Mr. Snyman graduated from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1996, cum laude, with a BA specializing in accounting.

Mr. Jacob M. Maas, also known as Jake, has been Senior Vice President of Planning and Development at Graham Holdings Company since October 2015. Mr. Maas joined Graham Holdings Company in October 2015. Prior to joining the Graham Holdings, he spent 7 years at LivingSocial in a variety of leadership roles to include chief financial officer, executive vice president of operations and head of corporate development. Previously, he served as a managing director at Revolution Health Group. He also worked on Capitol Hill for Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and served as the press secretary on his re-election campaign in 2002. He began his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Media and Telecom division, advising on both M&A and corporate finance transactions. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University, where he was an All American athlete on the track and cross country teams.
