Mr. Jon R. Sabes has been the Chief Executive Officer of Opportunity Finance, LLC since 1999. Mr. Sabes is a Co-founder of GWG Holdings, Inc. and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 2006. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and Manager of GWG Life Settlements, LLC. He is a financial professional with over 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, venture capital, business development, managerial operations and federal taxation. Over his career, Mr. Sabes has been active in receivable financing, life insurance financing and casualty insurance financing, structuring over $900 million in financing commitments for his related businesses. Mr. Sabes??? experience includes co-founding and leading the development of two leading insurance-related finance companies: GWG Life, a company in the life insurance finance industry founded in 2006 and MedFinance, an innovator in casualty insurance and healthcare finance founded in 2005. In 1998, he co-founded Jon Adams Financial Co., LLP, a law firm and business-advisory firm specializing in providing small and medium-sized businesses with professional services related to mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Sabes served as a tax consultant with Ernst & Young LLP. He served as Vice President of Business Development for Gaming Corporation of America and worked as an investment banker with Jefferies & Company, Inc. Mr. Sabes has over 16 years experience in finance, business development and consulting in a variety of industries. He has been the Chairman of GWG Holdings, Inc. since February 16, 2017. Mr. Sabes has been a Director of SK2 since May 2005 and GWG Holdings, Inc since 2006. He served as Director at Kuhlman Company, Inc., until October 3, 2006. He serves on the boards of Saving Children and Building Families and the Insurance Studies Institute. Over his career, he served several licenses and professional association memberships including FINRA Series 7, Series 63, Minnesota State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Sabes earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Steven F. Sabes, also known as Steve, is a Co-founder of GWG Holdings, Inc., has been its Executive Vice President of Originations and Servicing since November 13, 2014 and serves as its Secretary. Mr. Sabes served as President of GWG Holdings, Inc. from June 3, 2014 to November 13 2014. Mr. Sabes served as Chief Operating Officer of GWG Holdings, Inc. from 2006 to May 30, 2014. At GWG Holdings, Mr. Sabes is responsible for various managerial aspects of business, with a specific focus on treasury and financial operations, life insurance policy purchasing and specialty finance operations. Since 1998, Mr. Sabes has served as a Managing Director of Opportunity Finance, LLC, a family investment company specializing in structured finance. He served as Senior Scientist at Shionogi BioResearch and conducted pharmaceutical research. He has been a Director of GWG Holdings, Inc since 2006. He serves as Director of SpeciGen, Inc. He served as Director of STEN Corporation from August 2007 to October 28, 2008. Mr. Sabes holds a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Colorado College.

Mr. Jason Plucinak has been Senior Vice President of Business Development at GWG Holdings, Inc. since May 2016. Mr. Plucinak served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at GWG Holdings, Inc. since July 22, 2015. In his role, Mr. Plucinak is responsible for leading the internal capital markets desk while working closely with GWG's marketing and operations teams to continue enhancing the company's service to its broker-dealers and advisors. His main focuses are helping to drive investment product sales, developing direct policy acquisition initiatives and supporting distribution growth with the business development team.

Ms. Merriah Harkins serves as Executive Vice President of Sales & Business Development at GWG Holdings, Inc. Ms. Harkins serves as of DBSI Securities Corporation, Merriah is responsible for managing DBSI Securities. During her career, Merriah has built a varied background within the financial services industry. She began her financial services career with Mass Mutual as an advisor. She moved on to management within the training department of The Vanguard Group and held various managerial positions with Aetna Retirement Services (now part of ING.) Merriah's most recent positions prior to joining DBSI were with Charles Schwab and ATEL Securities Corporation. As a Director of Institutional Services for Schwab Instutional, Merriah managed the groups that provided support to registered investment advisors with $150 million or more under management and specialized in Schwab's managed account products. At ATEL Securities Corporation, Merriah managed the securities division and was an Executive VP, the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), and National Sales Manager. Merriah holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 6, 63, and 26 licenses, attended the University of Georgia and has a BSBA in Finance.

Mr. William B. Acheson, also known as Bill, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer of GWG Holdings, Inc. since May 30, 2014 and serves as its Executive Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Acheson serves as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer at GWG Life, LLC. He has over 25 years of sophisticated financial services expertise and executive experience. Mr. Acheson has extensive experience applying advanced financial concepts to originate, fund, manage and distribute financial services products. Mr. Acheson is an expert in pricing financial assets and utilizing cash flow structuring, derivatives, credit enhancement and other techniques to match investor demand with company funding needs. Mr. Acheson also has experience designing and implementing risk measurement and management frameworks including value at risk (VAR) and the use of portfolio stress testing to allocate economic or risk-adjusted capital to business lines and asset classes. Mr. Acheson has executive level financial services experience in the United States, Canada and in twelve countries throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and Latin America. Mr. Acheson has held several senior level positions within the residential mortgage industry encompassing executive leadership, strategic planning, finance, risk management, capital markets, structured finance and operations. He served as President, Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director of Capital Markets and Business Risk Officer in the residential mortgage industry. In his career, Mr. Acheson has managed the interest rate, spread, credit and funding risk for multi-billion dollar balance sheets and has priced, structured and traded many types of Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and Asset Backed Securities (ABS). Prior to joining GWG, Mr. Acheson served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for The Homeownership Preservation Foundation (a residential real estate foreclosure prevention organization seeded by GMAC) from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Acheson served as Managing Director of Global Structured Finance and Investments at Merrill Lynch in London, England from 2007 to 2008. From 1991 to 2007, Mr. Acheson spent his career at GMAC-RESCAP, where he served as Managing Director for a number of business units, concluding his career as Chief Financial Officer for the United Kingdom Division from 2005 to 2007. He earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1991 while working for Ernst & Young in Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Acheson earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mr. Tom Nodine has been Executive Vice President of Insurtech Division at GWG Holdings, Inc. since June 2017. Mr. Nodine is lead the development and commercialization of its M-Panel technology, the application of epigenetic science to underwriting techniques for the global life insurance industry. He has consulted with GWG Life since October 2016. He served as Senior Vice President for technology strategy and innovation for Allstate Insurance and led insurance strategy practices for KPMG and Booz & Co.

Mr. Matthew Paine, also known as Matt, has been the Head of Key Accounts & Appointed Agent Sales and Senior Vice President at GWG Holdings, Inc. since May 2016. Mr. Paine's focus is on GWG MCA Capital, Inc. as well as the Appointed Agent Program for the Company's selling group.

Mr. Chris Orestis, CSA has been an Executive Vice President of Life Insurance Secondary Markets at GWG Holdings, Inc. since April 19, 2017. Mr. Orestis serves as Chief Executive Officer of Life Care Funding, LLC. He has twenty years of experience in the life insurance industry. He is a Co-Founder of Life Care Funding, where he pioneered the development of long-term care funding products based on consumers life insurance policies. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Life Care Funding, LLC. A former Washington D.C. lobbyist, he is a nationally known Senior Care Advocate, a Legislative Expert, Featured Speaker, Columnist and Contributor to a number of insurance and long-term care industry publications and author of the Amazon best-seller book Help on the Way and Survival Guide to Aging. He is a frequent guest about senior issues on national radio programs; and has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Fox Business News and PBS.

John Vilsack serves as the Chief Technology Officer of GWG Holdings, Inc.. John started at GWG Holdings, Inc. in September of 2015. John is currently based in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.

Scott Blackman serves as the Senior Vice President - Regional Director of GWG Holdings, Inc.. Scott started at GWG Holdings, Inc. in November of 2012. Scott is currently based in the Greater Denver Area.
