Mr. David J. Wilson has been the President of Plasma Business Unit at Haemonetics Corporation since September 18, 2017. Mr. Wilson serves as the Vice President of IT at HyperDisk Marketing, Inc. Prior to joining Haemonetics, Mr. Wilson served as President of Worldwide at Cordis Corporation. Mr. Wilson served as the President of Cordis at Cardinal Health, Inc. since March 2015 until August 2017. Mr. Wilson served as the Worldwide President of Mentor Worldwide LLC since September 2010. From 1996 to 2007, he served in a number of roles within Cordis, including Vice President of Lower Extremity, Renal and Venous Diseases, Vice President of Cordis Endovascular Research & Development and Regional Sales Director for the West. Prior to joining Mentor, he served as worldwide vice president of Research & Development and New Business Development for Ethicon, Inc. He joined Ethicon in 2007 as Worldwide Vice President of Biosurgicals for Johnson & Johnson Wound Management, (named Ethicon Biosurgery). Before beginning his career at Johnson & Johnson within Cordis in 1996, he worked at a start-up company, Cohesion Corporation, in Palo Alto, Calif. Mr. Wilson served as the Chief Technology Officer at HyperDisk Marketing, Inc. Prior to joining Hyperdisk, Mr. Wilson worked in clinical setting for 4 years and moved on to help Bozell Health Care West establish their internet marketing department. Mr. Wilson also designed and developed presentations for companies such as Toshiba Medical, Baxter Healthcare, Beckman Instruments Inc., Trega Biosciences, Inc. to name a few and helped launch both the Botox and Johnson & Johnson tradeshow campaigns. He developed the one of the first 360 degree image viewers and later worked with Apple Computer Inc. to implement one of the first CDROMs based on Apple's new VR engine. Mr. Wilson works extensively with all client accounts and has extensive experience in media and Pharma/Biotech companies. He is a proven business leader with over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles at medical technology companies. He has been a Director of California Life Sciences Association (California Healthcare Institute) since August 10, 2011. He has a degree in medical sciences and is a license Registered Nurse. He holds numerous patents and was awarded the Johnson Medal for the creation of the Cordis Self-Expanding Stent System in 2001. Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor'S Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, an Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
