Mr. Andrew G. Backman, also known as Andy, has been Managing Director of Investor Relations and Public Relations of HC2 Holdings, Inc. since April 4, 2016. Mr. Backman serves as Managing Director of Investor Relations and Public Relations at New York REIT, Inc. and American Finance Trust, Inc. Mr. Backman is a Global Investor Relations and Public Relations executive with 20+ years of financial and operational experience leading high-profile financial services, telecommunications, media and entertainment and commercial real estate finance organizations, will be responsible for building and further expanding a leading Investor Relations and Public Relations platform to support HC2 Holdings and its domestic and international strategies. He served as the Managing Director of Investor Relations and Public Relations at RCS Capital Corporation since March 24, 2014. He served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations & Marketing at iStar Inc. (also known as iStar Financial Inc.). Prior to joining RCAP, Mr. Backman served as Chief Executive Officer of InVision Investor Relations Inc., a New York based Investor Relations advisory firm he founded in 2011. He served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at iStar Financial Inc., and served as its Vice President of Investor Relations and Marketing since December 15, 2004. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Backman served as Vice President of Investor Relations and Marketing Communications at Corvis Corporation / Broadwing Communications, where he was responsible for leading the Broadwing through one of the most successful and highly publicized initial public offerings in history. He joined iStar Financial from Broadwing Corporation (formerly, Corvis Corporation), where he served as Vice President of Investor Relations and Public Relations. At Broadwing, Mr. Backman directed all efforts focused on positioning Broadwing with major institutional investors and leading brokerage analysts worldwide and served as spokesperson for the financial media and general press. Mr. Backman served for 10 years in various Finance, Accounting and Investor Relations positions at&T Corporation and Lucent Technologies where he specialized in international business, including mergers and acquisitions and helped manage several financial transactions in Asia. Mr. Backman holds a B.A. from Boston College in Economics and is a graduate of Lucent Technologies Executive Financial Leadership Program.

Mr. Paul K. Voigt has been Senior Managing Director of Investments at HC2 Holdings, Inc. since October 2014. Mr. Voigt joined HC2 Holdings as Managing Director of Investments in October 2014. He is involved with sourcing deals and capital raising. Previously, Mr. Voigt served as Executive Vice President on the sales and trading desk at Jefferies and Company from 1996 to 2013. Prior to joining Jeffries, he served as Managing Director on the high yield sales desk at Prudential Securities from 1988 to 1996. Mr. Voigt has been a Director of Schuff International, Inc. since 2014. Prior to 1988, he played professional baseball. Mr. Voigt attended the University of Virginia from 1976 to 1980 where he received a B.S. in electrical engineering and an MBA from the University of Southern California in 1988.
