Micromanagement shouldn’t be a part of the company culture. We need to be more vocal about what’s wrong, rather than sticking with what feels like abuse from those in Leadership who have taken the company in a undesirable direction.
There’s a level of micromanagement and condescension that is thick in the air from leadership, which mostly comes from the currrent COO and the VP of Operations. Between the two of them you are stuck wondering if the altruism of your job is worth it. I would feel better with maternity leave.
