Mr. Andrew E. Townsend, also known as Drew, has been an Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Heartland Financial USA, Inc. since January 31, 2016. Mr. Townsend served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Galena State Bank & Trust Co. (also known as, Galena State Bank), an affiliate of Heartland Financial USA Inc. from 2003 to January 2013. He began his career in 1988 as a Bank Examiner for the Iowa Division of Banking. He joined Dubuque Bank and Trust in 1993 as a Loan Review Officer. He was selected to joined Galena State Bank as an Executive Vice President in 1996 as understudy to President Jerry Murdock in anticipation of Murdock's retirement. He served as a Director of Galena State Bank & Trust Co. In the community, he serves as the Chairman of the VisitGalena tourism organization, Vice Chairman of the Tri-County Economic Development Alliance, Board Member of the Community Development Fund of Galena and Board President of the Jo Daviess Community Development Corporation. He holds a Certification in loan review from the Bank Administration Institute and is a Member of the Risk Management Association. Mr. Townsend holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University, where he majored in Finance.

Mr. Jack Lloyd has been the President of Heartland Mortgage at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. since October 25, 2016. Prior to joining Heartland, Mr. Lioyd was with BMO Harris Bank in Chicago, Illinois. During his time there, Mr. Lloyd served in a variety of positions including Deputy Head of Consumer Lending and Residential Mortgages, National Head of Sales, and most recently, Regional President of Community Banking.
