Mr. Brian L. Vance has been the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Financial Corporation since October 1, 2006 and its President since February 25, 2005. Mr. Vance serves as the President of Heritage Savings Bank. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Bank since March 4, 2003. He has been the President of Heritage Banksince October 1, 1998 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer since March 4, 2003. He has been an Executive Director of Heritage Financial Corporation since 2002. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Central Valley Bank since 2006. He served as the President of Heritage Bank (Olympia, WA) since October 1, 1998. He served as an Executive Vice President at Heritage Financial Corp. from January 2003 to February 25, 2005. He has over 30 years of commercial banking experience. He joined Heritage Bank in June 1996 as Senior Vice President Loan Administration and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 1998 and also served as its Chief Credit Officer. Prior to joining Heritage Bank, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for West One Bank in Tacoma. He was employed for 24years with West One Bank, a bank with offices in Idaho, Utah, Oregon and Washington. Prior to leaving West One, he was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Banking Operations for the south Puget Sound region. He served as Vice Chairman of Central Valley Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corp. since October 1, 2006. He also serves on the boards of the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber, the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County and the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in Olympia. Mr. Vance is also involved in community activities and is a Trustee of the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia and serves on the Milgard School of Business Advisory Board at the University of Washington Tacoma.

Mr. Bryan D. McDonald has been the Chief Lending Officer and Executive Vice President of Heritage Bank USA, Inc. (Heritage Bank) since May 1, 2014. Mr. McDonald serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Heritage Financial Corporation. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Washington Banking Co. He has nearly 20 years of managerial experience in various sales, credit, operations, commercial banking and residential real estate areas. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Whidbey Island Bank from January 1, 2012 to May 2014 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from April 01, 2010 to January 1, 2012, Executive Vice President from August 26, 2010 to January 1, 2012, Senior Vice President since April 1, 2010 and Commercial Banking Manager since February 7, 2006. Before joining the team at the Bank, Mr. McDonald served as Snohomish and King County Business Group Manager where he was responsible for developing all aspects of Peoples Bank's commercial banking operation in King and Snohomish County.

Mr. Jeffrey J. Deuel, also known as Jeff, has been Executive Vice President of Heritage Financial Corporation since November 2010. Mr. Deuel has been Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Vice President of Heritage Bank, a subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corp. since December 1, 2010. He served as an Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategies at Heritage Bank since February 24, 2010 until December 1, 2010. He has twenty-eight years of banking experience. He served as Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations at JPMorgan Chase (formerly Washington Mutual). He served at Washington Mutual from 2001 to 2009, where he also held other positions including Senior Vice President of Commercial Credit Risk Administrator, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy Group and Senior Vice President of Commercial Specialty Lending. He was in Philadelphia where he held various Commercial Lending or Lending Administration positions with Bank United and before that CoreStates Bank.

Mr. David A. Spurling also known as Dave, has been Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Heritage Bank, a subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corp. since 2007. Mr. Spurling serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Heritage Financial Corporation and served as its Senior Vice President. He began his banking career as a middle market lender at Seafirst Bank, followed by positions as a commercial lender at Bank of America in Small Business Banking and as a regional manager for Bank of America's government-guaranteed lending division. He served as Executive Vice President of Heritage Financial Corp. He joined Heritage Bank in 2001 as a commercial lender, followed by a role as a commercial team leader. Mr. Spurling attended the University of Washington where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1981 and his MBA in 1983.

Mr. Donald J. Hinson, also known as Don, CPA, has been Chief Financial Officer at Heritage Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries Heritage Bank and Central Valley Bank since September 1, 2007. Mr. Hinson has been an Executive Vice President of Heritage Bank since September 2012. He has been an Executive Vice President of Heritage Financial Corporation and Central Valley Bank since September 2012. He served as Senior Vice President at Heritage Financial Corp., Heritage Bank and Central Valley Bank since September 1, 2007. He has thirteen years of financial and accounting experience. Prior to Heritage Bank, he was Manager in the banking practice of RSM McGladrey, one of the top ten accounting firms in the U.S. He served as Vice President and Controller of Heritage Bank Since 2005. He served 11 years in the banking and audit practice of local and national accounting firms of Knight, Vale and Gregory and RSM McGladrey. Mr. Hinson has a BS in Accounting from Central Washington University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Ms. Lisa L. Welander serves as a Senior Vice President and the Chief Information Officer at Heritage Financial Corp. and Heritage Bank.

Mr. D. Michael Broadhead served as President of Central Valley Bank, a subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corp. since March 1990 until April 2013. Mr. Broadhead joined Central Valley Bank in 1986. Previously, he held positions with Farmers Home Administration and First Bank & Trust of Idaho.

Ms. Lisa Banner has been Executive Vice President and Director of Shared Services at Heritage Financial Corporation since September 14, 2015. Ms. Banner serves as an Executive Vice President and Director of Shared Services at Heritage Bank and her responsibilities include deposit and loan operations, facilities management, and information systems and technology. Ms. Banner served a variety of senior management positions at a Utah-based regional banking organization. She served as the Senior Vice President, Division Manager for Deposit and Treasury Operations. Ms. Banner holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Portland State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Westminster College and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School.

Ms. Kaylene M. Lahn has been Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Heritage Financial Corporation since September 2008. Ms. Lahn served as Internal Control Officer for Heritage Financial Corp. from 2005 to 2008, the Controller for Heritage Bank from 2001 to 2005 and a Senior Staff Accountant from 1999 to 2001. Ms. Lahn worked for the public accounting firm of Knight, Vale and Gregory prior to joining Heritage Bank from 1996 to 1999 where she worked on various audits and tax engagements. She holds a BS degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
