Mr. John C. Bombara, also known as Jay, is a Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer at Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC. He is an Original Member of the team that founded Advisor in May 2003. Mr. Bombara has more than 19 years of experience providing legal services to financial institutions and other entities and individuals. He served as In-House Counsel for GATX Ventures, Inc. from December 2000 to May 2003, where he directed the legal operations of the GATX Ventures' in closing and managing its portfolio of debt and equity investments in technology and life science companies throughout the United States. He also represented GATX Corporation's other venture lending units in Canada and Europe. In addition, he was responsible for assisting and advising senior management, credit analysts and marketing directors with respect to appropriate deal structures, market trends, risk management, and compliance with corporate policies and worked with co-participant's business personnel and counsel in facilitating and coordinating joint investments. Prior to joining GATX, he was a Partner at the business law firm of Pepe & Hazard, LLP. Mr. Bombara received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and his Juries Doctor degree from Cornell Law School.

Mr. Gerald A. Michaud, also known as Jerry, is the President, since May 2003 and Member of Board of Directors of Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC. He co-founded Horizon Technology Finance Management LLC. He has been the Mr. Michaud serves as the Managing Member of Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC since 2003. He served as the Chief Marketing Strategy Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC. He has over 25 years of banking and finance experience and is a pioneer in the venture lending finance market. From July 2000 to May 2003, Mr. Michaud served as Senior Vice President at GATX Ventures, Inc. and its Senior Business Development Executive. He co-founded Transamerica Technology Finance and served as its Senior Vice President of Transamerica Business Credit's Technology Finance division from September 1996 to July 2000. Mr. Michaud also served as Senior Business Development Officer of Transamerica Business Credit. From May 1993 to September 1996, he served as a Vice President of Financing for Science International, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Michaud founded and served as President at Venture Leasing and Capital. He has been a Interested Director of Horizon Technology Finance Corporation since March 2010. He has published numerous articles on venture lending for major trade publications and has served as panelist and moderator at trade association and finance conferences. Mr. Michaud attended Northeastern University, Rutgers University and the University of Phoenix, completed a formal commercial credit training program with Shawmut Bank and has taken executive courses at Harvard Business School.

Mr. Daniel R. Trolio, also known as Dan, CPA is a Vice President and Corporate Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC. He has been involved in the accounting and finance industries for more than 15 years. His background includes Senior Manager at a regional CPA firm and at major public accounting firms including KPMG and Arthur Anderson where he gained extensive experience in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, lending and taxation. Mr. Trolio served as a Senior Manager where he was responsible for assisting clients achieve their financial goals. He obtained Certification as a Certified Public Accountant, chartered in the State of Connecticut. Mr. Trolio holds his Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford and graduated with honors from Bentley College earning a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Mr. Daniel S. Devorsetz, also known as Dan, CFA serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Tennessee Valley Authority. Mr. Devorsetz has been Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC since October 2004, which he co-founded. He was Chief Credit Officer at the firm. Mr. Devorsetz is responsible for underwriting and portfolio management. Mr. Devorsetz served as Senior Credit Officer and Vice President of Horizon Technology Finance Management LLC. Prior to Horizon, from May 2003 to October 2004, he served as Vice President in General Electric Capital's Life Science Finance Group, where he was primarily responsible for the underwriting and portfolio management of debt and equity investments to venture capital-backed life science companies. Prior to that, from December 2000 to May 2003, Mr. Devorsetz served as Credit Manager at GATX Ventures, concentrating on the high tech and software industries. From July 1999 to December 2000, Mr. Devorsetz served as a Vice President and Director of Analysis for Student Loans with Citigroup. His previous experience includes tenures in private placement investment banking and securitizations at Advest, Inc. and Ironwood Capital. He has more than 19 years of credit and portfolio management experience including more than 15 years in venture lending. He has over 10 years of financial services and lending experience, including spending the past five years in the venture lending industry. Mr. Devorsetz is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He received his M.B.A. from Clark University and Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
