Mr. Byron A. Dunn has been the Chief Executive Officer of Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since November 4, 2011 and serves as its President. He is a co-owner of Field Rock Partners LP . Mr. Dunn has been the Chief Executive Officer of IDM Equipment, Ltd. since May 2008. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of IDM Group of Discovery Drilling Equipment Ltd. from December 2007 to 2010. He has broad experience in the global energy sector. He served as the President of Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Erin Energy Corporation from October 1, 2010 to April 12, 2011. He served as the President of GES Global Energy Services, Inc. and also served as its Chief Executive Officer since May 2008. He served as Vice President of Corporate Business Development at National Oilwell, Inc. from 2003 to 2005. He served as President of Eastern Hemisphere Rig Solutions. From 1997 to 2003, he held increasingly responsible roles in UBS global energy and power investment banking group, first serving as Oilfield Service Research Global Sector Coordinator. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Harvest Natural Resources Inc. from September 28, 2005 to December 2007. He served as an Equity Analyst of UBS Investment Bank, Research Division and Johnson Rice & Company, L.L.C., Research Division. Prior to joining UBS LLC in 1996, he served two years as Senior Vice President of Specializing in energy and oilfield services with Jeffries & Company, Inc. He has over five years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry. From 1979 to 1984, he served at Chevron USA in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico in drilling, production and reservoir assignments. In addition, from 1991 to 1992, he spent considerable time in West Siberia, Europe and South America as Manager of Upstream Business Development and Acquisitions of Phibro Energy. He served as the Chairman of TTS Marine ASA. He served as the Chairman of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). He serves as an Advisory Director to Preng & Associates. He has been a Director of Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since November 4, 2011. He has been an Independent Director at PDTI Holdings, LLC since November 2007. He has been an Independent Director of Particle Drilling Technologies, Inc. since November 2007. He serves as a Director of Citizens National Bank. He served as a Director Erin Energy Corporation from October 1, 2010 to April 12, 2011. He served as a Director of Harvest Natural Resources Inc. from December 17, 2003 to September 28, 2005. He served as an Executive Director in the energy investment banking group of UBS Warburg LLC. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Dunn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1980, Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago in 1986.

Mr. Philip A. Choyce has been the Chief Financial Officer at Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since March 2012 and as its Executive Vice President since August 4, 2016. Mr. Choyce also serves as Secretary and Treasurer at Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. Mr. Choyce served as Senior Vice President of Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since November 2011 until August 4, 2016. He was Chief Compliance Officer at Grant Prideco, Inc. Mr. Choyce was the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Grant Prideco, Inc. From December 1999 to January 1, 2001. Prior to joining Grant Prideco Inc., he served as Senior Associate with Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Prior to joining Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., he was a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young LLP in Houston, Texas. Mr. Choyce has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1989 and Law Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993.

Mr. Philip A. Dalrymple has been Vice President of Operations at Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since August 04, 2016. Mr. Dalrymple joined the Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. in January 2013 and has served in increasing roles of responsibility, including Drilling Superintendent from January of 2013 to October of 2013 and Operations Manager from November 2013 until his promotion to Vice President of Operations. Mr. Dalrymple was employed at Rowan Companies, most recently as Lead Project Engineer overseeing construction of offshore drilling rigs from 2010 to 2013. From 2000 to 2010, Mr. Dalrymple served in increasing roles of responsibility in Rowan's drilling operations, including Rig Manager and Safety Specialist within Rowan's drilling operations. Mr. Dalrymple earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University - College Station.

Mr. Michael J. Harwell has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. since August 01, 2012. Mr. Harwell served from 2005 to 2012 as the Vice President and Corporate Controller for Landry's, Inc., a restaurant, gaming and entertainment company. Prior to joining Landry's, Mr. Harwell served as Vice President and Controller of NetVersant Solutions, Inc. since January 2000. Mr. Harwell was associated with Nabors Industries, Inc., a Houston-based publicly traded drilling contractor, where he served as Corporate Controller from January 1994 to December 1999. He joined Ernst & Young LLP from June 1991 to 1994. Mr. Harwell remained with the accounting firm until January 1994, where also served as Audit Senior. He holds graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chris Menefee serves as the Senior Vice President Business Development of Independence Contract Drilling. Chris started at Independence Contract Drilling in Oct of 2018. Chris currently resides in the Houston, Texas Area.
