Dr. Valentin P. Gapontsev, Ph.D. has been the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IPG Photonics Corporation since 1990. Dr. Gapontsev served as a Managing Director of IPG Laser GmbH. In 1994, he Founded IPG Laser, a subsidiary of IPG Photonics Corporation and in 1997, he Founded IPG Fibertech. He founded the IPG Group with the creation of NTO IRE-POLUS and has been the President and Managing Director since its inception in 1991. Dr. Gapontsev served as senior scientist in laser material physics and head of the laboratory at the Soviet Academy of Science's Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics in Moscow. He has over thirty years of academic research experience in the fields of solid state laser materials, laser spectroscopy and non-radiative energy transfer between rare earth ions. He is the author of many scientific publications and several international patents. He has been a Director of IPG Photonics Corporation since 1990. In 2006, Dr. Gapontsev was awarded the Ernst & Young ??? Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Industrial Products and Services in New England and in 2009, he was awarded the Arthur L. Schawlow Award by the Laser Institute of America. In 2011, he received the Russian Federation National Award in Science and Technology and he was also selected as a Fellow of the Optical Society of America. Dr. Gapontsev holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Mr. Timothy P. V. Mammen, also known as Tim, has been the Chief Financial Officer of IPG Photonics Corporation since July 2000 and has been its Senior Vice President since February 2013. Mr. Mammen served as the Principal Accounting Officer of IPG Photonics Corporation and served as its Vice President from November 2000 to February 2013. He served as the Group Finance Director and General Manager of United Kingdom Operations at IP Fibre Devices Ltd., from May 1999 to July 2000. He served as the Finance Director and General Manager of United Partners Plc from 1995 to 1999. He worked in the finance department of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland. Mr. Mammen received an Upper Second B.Sc. Honours Degree in International Trade and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Dr. Eugene Scherbakov, Ph.D., has been the Chief Operating Officer of IPG Photonics Corporation since February 14, 2017 and its Senior Vice President of Europe since February 2013. Dr. Scherbakov has been the Managing Director at IPG Laser GmbH since August 2000. He served as a Technical Director of IPG Laser from 1995 to August 2000. From 1983 to 1995, he was a Senior Scientist in fiber optics and head of the optical communications laboratory at the General Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Science in Moscow. He has been a Director of IPG Photonics Corporation since September 2000. He graduated from the Moscow Physics and Technology Institute with an M.S. in Physics. In addition, Dr. Scherbakov attended the Russian Academy of Science in Moscow, where he received a Ph.D. in Quantum Electronics from Lebedev Physics Institute and a Dr.Sci. Degree in Laser Physics from its General Physics Institute.

Dr. Alexander Ovtchinnikov, Ph.D. has been Senior Vice President of Components at IPG Photonics Corporation since February 2013. Dr. Ovtchinnikov served as Vice President of Components at IPG Photonics Corporation since September 2005. He served as Director of Material Sciences at IPG Photonics Corporation from October 2001 to September 2005. He served as Material Science Manager of Lasertel, Inc., from 1999 to 2001. For 15 years, he worked on the development and commercialization of high power diode pump technology at the Ioffe Institute, Tampere University of Technology, Coherent, Inc. and Spectra-Physics Corporation. Dr. Ovtchinnikov holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Electrotechnical University of St. Petersburg, Russia and a Ph.D. from Ioffe Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Mr. Thomas J. Burgomaster has been Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Controller of IPG Photonics Corporation since August 2006 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer.

Mr. Igor Samartsev has been the Chief Technology Officer of IPG Photonics Corporation since 2011. Mr. Samartsev served as Deputy General Manager of NTO IRE-Polus, a subsidiary of IPG Photonics Corporation since 2005. He is one of the founders of IPG Photonics. He has been employed as a scientist with NTO IRE-POLUS since 1990. He served as Technical Director of NTO IRE-Polus from 2000 to April 2005 and served as its Deputy Director from 1993 to 2001. He served as Managing Director of NTO IRE-Polus. He served as a Director of Research and Development at IPG Laser, a subsidiary of IPG Photonics Corporation since 1997. He has been a Director of IPG Photonics Corporation since February 2006. He holds an M.S. in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Mr. Samartsev is a graduate of Chelyabinsk Physical Mathematical School and received a First Class Degree from the Moscow Physical Technical Institute.

Mr. Felix I. Stukalin has been Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations at IPG Photonics Corporation since February 2013. Mr. Stukalin served as Vice President of Devices at IPG Photonics Corporation from March 2009 to February 2013. He served as Vice President of Business Development of GSI Group Inc. from April 2002 to September 2008. He served as Vice President of Components and President of the Wave Precision divisions of GSI Lumonics from March 2000 to April 2002. He served as General Manager of the Components Product Group from 1999 to 2000 and of Wave Precision from 2000 to 2002. Mr. Stukalin joined General Scanning in 1994 as Director of Engineering for the Components Division and since 1999 served as General Manager of Components Division. Mr. Stukalin holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School General Management Program.

Mr. Angelo P. Lopresti, II is the Senior Legal and Business Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, board and senior management at IPG Photonics Corporation. Mr. Lopresti has been General Counsel and Secretary at IPG Photonics Corporation since February 2001 and has been its Senior Vice President since February 2013. Mr. Lopresti served as Vice President of IPG Photonics Corporation from January 2001 to February 2013. Prior to IPG Photonics Corporation, he was a Partner at Winston & Strawn, a law firm, from 1999 to 2001, where he focused his practice in securities and technology law and mergers and acquisitions. He also served as Partner at Hertzog, Calamari & Gleason, a law firm, from 1998 to 1999 and an Associate from 1991 to 1998. He has been a Director of Coastway Bancorp, Inc., since March 24, 2016. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.

Dr. Nikolai Platonov,, Ph.D. has been Principal Scientist of IPG Photonics Corporation since October 2000 and serves as its Department Head. Dr. Platonov served as a scientist at IPG Laser from 1998 to 2000 and at NTO IRE-POLUS from 1996 to 1998. He was a research scientist at the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1979 to 1996. He served as a Director of IPG Photonics Corporation. He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and received his undergraduate degree from the Moscow Physical Technical Institute.
