In North America: the schedule is flexible in the sense that, within reason, you can somewhat pick the 4 hours per day, and that includes weekends, you want to sleep. Granted, this depends to a large degree on which department you're in. Sales is much more flexible in some ways; marketing has its seasonality (predominantly tradeshow dominated). Anyone hourly in finance, logistics and customer service will mainly have fairly (max) standard hours, but with minimal flexibility. Customer Support has its own rythymn, and though most are hourly, the department is typically so understaffed that many technicians work excessive hours. The money is good, but the burn-out rate is high. If you are salaried, expect to be on call 24/7, including holidays, because HQ is in Israel and does not respect non-Israeli holidays. Also, everything is always an emergency and always on fire. A great place to work if you're an adrenaline junkie with no designs on having a life outside of work.
