Mr. Richard H. Gilden is a Partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. He represents companies from initial funding, through venture financing rounds, and their initial and follow-on public offerings. Thereafter, Mr. Gilden counsels public companies on their disclosure obligations and their boards of directors regarding their fiduciary and other duties. He also has extensive experience in representing technology and other clients in cross border financings and acquisitions. Mr. Gilden's practice encompasses representation of a number of publicly traded companies based in Israel, as well as representation of major investment banks that have led public offerings of companies based in Israel and other countries. He has represented companies in the advertising, public relations, and market research industries in merger and acquisition, joint venture, and other strategic transactions. Prior to joining this firm, Mr. Gilden was a Partner at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP since 2000. He specialized in corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and international law. Mr. Gilden was also a Partner at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP from 1987 to 2000, a Partner at Gelberg & Abrams from 1986 to 1987, a Partner at Rosenman & Colin from 1980 to 1986, and an Associate at Rosenman & Colin from 1971 to 1979. He is a Member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, New York State, and American Bar Associations. Mr. Gilden received his J.D. from the Cornell Law School and a B.A., cum laude, from Lafayette College.
