Dr. James T. Garrett, PH.D serves as Vice President of Technology Development at Luna Innovations Incorporated. Dr. Garrett joined the executive team with his promotion to Vice President in July 2012. He began his career at Luna in 2005 and served as director of the Material Systems group from 2006 to 2012. Prior to joining Luna, Dr. Garrett developed polyurethane intermediates for Bayer MaterialScience and researched electroactive materials at the Naval Research Laboratory. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary, and a Doctoral Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University.

Mr. Dale E. Messick has been the Chief Financial Officer of Luna Innovations Incorporated since August 1, 2006 and served as Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Photonix Inc. since May 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Travelport, LP He served as consultant at Travelport, LP since June 2005. He served as the Chief Operating Officer, Principal Executive Officer, Interim President at Luna Innovations Incorporated from August 2010 to April 25, 2011. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of Luna Innovations Incorporated from August 1, 2006 to August 10, 2010. Mr. Messick served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Worldspan Technologies Inc. From July 1997 to June 2005, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance for Worldspan L.P. In this positions at Worldspan, he managed a staff of 160 throughout the United States, Mexico and Europe. He served as Consultant of Worldspan LP since June 2005. He was responsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis and internal audit operations. During his tenure, he developed and executed business plans and strategies that focused company on profitable growth and cash generation. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Messick served as Worldspan L P's Director of Finance and Accounting. From 1986 to 1993, he held several positions at Price Waterhouse, where he began his career in finance. While at Price Waterhouse, he served as audit manager, responsible for financial audits and related services for numerous clients in the manufacturing and service industries, including Worldspan L P. He was with Worldspan L P., in various capacities since 1993. He served as a Director at Advanced Photonix Inc. since May 2015. Mr. Messick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the College of William & Mary and is a certified public accountant.

Mr. Jean-Pierre Maufras serves as General Manager of Optosolutions at Luna Innovations Incorporated. Mr. Maufras joined Advanced Photonix in January 2010. Previously he held General Management positions with ATK and Rexnord / PSI Bearing. Prior to that, Mr. Maufras spent 7 years with Danaher / Aerospace Group in increasing roles in Operations, the last being VP Operations for the Aerospace Group. Prior to Danaher, Mr. Maufras spent 13 years with Zodiac Aerospace in various roles in Quality and Operations. He received a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Pons University (France), and a Berkeley Advanced Management Program Certificate.

Todd Haber serves as the Vice President Of Technology of Luna Innovations Incorporated. Todd started at Luna Innovations Incorporated in October of 2018. Todd currently resides in Greater Atlanta Area.
