Morris Visitor Publications has a toxic work environment, particularly for those who work in the various markets. There is no leadership or communications to employees. Many times, rules and programs get dictated to sales people and managers in the markets without having any input from those market--or any market. Periodic conference calls are useless: they review programs that are ineffective or quickly abandoned. The various levels of management--from regional to corporate--do not communicate, leading to confusion throughout the company. Moral is very bad and rumors are rampant. Corporate management seems to view employees as commodities rather than assets. The company does not spend on maintaining a healthy work environment.
