Mr. Robert A. Edwards, also known as Bob, serves as the Partner and Managing Director of NGP Energy Capital Management. He joined NGP in 2009. Mr. Christopher D. Ray, J.D., has been a Partner and Senior Managing Director at NGP Energy Capital Management (Alternate Name: Natural Gas Partners) since July 2012. Previously he was General Counsel at the firm. He joined NGP Energy Capital Management in February 2003 and served as its Managing Director from 2007 to July 2012 and General Counsel. Mr. Ray is involved in the full range of NGP's business, including an active role in the decisions regarding capital allocation, evaluation of investment opportunities, portfolio monitoring, exit and capital market transactions, and firm administration. He applies his 20 years of broad energy deal experience to ensure excellence in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions conducted by both NGP and its portfolio companies. Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Ray was a Partner in the law firm of Thompson & Knight, LLP. He served as Outside Legal Counsel to Oncologic, Inc. Mr. Weber oversees NGP's efforts in sourcing, structuring and executing investments as well as capital markets transactions within the portfolios. He plays a key role in sourcing and managing NGP's relationship with its investors. He assists in all transaction evaluation and monitoring efforts. He is employed at NGP Natural Resources X, L.P. In his 14 years as a Commercial Banker, he was involved in the arranging and financing of more than $14 billion in energy transactions, including senior debt facilities, mezzanine debt structures, project financing and direct equity investments.
