Mr. Gregory A. Lang, also known as Greg, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of NovaGold Resources Inc. since January 9, 2012. Mr. Lang has over 30 years of diverse experience in mine operations, project development and evaluations. He served as Special Advisor to the Board of Sunward Resources Ltd since July 2012. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of NovaCopper Inc. He joined NovaGold from Barrick Gold Corporation where he served as the President of Barrick Gold of North America, Barrick Gold's wholly-owned subsidiary and was responsible for Barrick Gold's nine operations in the United States, Canada and the Dominican Republic, including the Donlin Gold project, equally owned by wholly-owned subsidiaries of NovaGold and Barrick Gold. He has held progressively responsible operating and project development positions over his 10-year tenure with Barrick Gold and prior to that, with Homestake Mining Company and International Corona Corporation, both of which are now part of Barrick Gold. Mr. Lang has been a Director of Sunward Resources Ltd since September 13, 2012. He has been an Independent Director at Trilogy Metals Inc. (also known as: NovaCopper Inc.) since January 24, 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla and is a Graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program.

David L. Deisley is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of NOVAGOLD Resources Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry in the Americas, with an extensive track record in project permitting, corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions and corporate development. In addition, he is regarded as a Human Rights Expert relative to resource projects and local populations. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

Mr. David A. Ottewell, also known as Dave, CA has been the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Vice President of NovaGold Resources Inc. since November 13, 2012. Mr. Ottewell is responsible for all aspects of NOVAGOLD's financial management as NovaGold Resources advances permitting and financial optimization of its 50%-owned Donlin Gold Project in Alaska. Mr. Ottewell is a highly accomplished financial executive with over 25 years of mining industry experience. Mr. Ottewell served as Controller of Echo Bay Mines Ltd. Mr. Ottewell served as Controller and Vice President of Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited since July 2011 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Ottewell served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Newmont Mining Corp. from March 8, 2011 to November 2, 2012 and as its Vice President and Controller from July 2011 to November 2, 2012. He served as an Interim Controller of Newmont Mining Corp. since March 8, 2011, where Mr. Ottewell led the global accounting functions, ensuring consistent delivery and quality control in external reporting to shareholders and regulators in the U.S. and Canada. He has tremendous experience and understanding of the mining industry from the ground up. He has more than 28 years of experience in many aspects of financial, internal control and accounting management. Mr. Ottewell joined Newmont Mining Corp. since 2005 and served as its Assistant Controller since 2007 and Senior Director of Financial Reporting from 2005 to 2007. He served as an Assistant Controller at Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited since 2007 and Senior Director of Financial Reporting from 2005 to 2007. He provided consulting services to Newmont and other clients in 2004 and served various finance positions at Echo Bay Mines Limited from 1987 to 2003, including Controller and Chief Accounting Officer from 1999 to 2003. He served as Senior Audit Manager at Ernst and Whinney in Edmonton, Canada. He is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Ottewell holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.

Mr. Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, M.Sc., has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Trilogy Metals Inc. (also known as: NovaCopper Inc.) since April 29, 2011. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of SolidusGold Inc. from August 5, 2016 to November 2016. He served as the President at NovaGold Resources Inc. from January 1998 to 2011 and as its Chief Executive Officer from May 1999 to 2011. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at NovaGold Resources Inc. since January 1998. Rick served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of SpectrumGold Inc., a subsidiary of NovaGold Resources Inc. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Etruscan Resources Inc. from December 1997 to May 1999. He has over 30 years of worldwide experience in the natural resource sector. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse was associated with Placer Dome Inc. from 1990 to 1998. He served as a Vice President of Exploration Africa, Eurasia of Placer Dome Exploration Inc., a subsidiary of Placer Dome Inc., from January 1994 to November 1997. Rick served as Vice President and General Manager of Placer Kazakhstan Limited from June 1995 to December 1995 and served as a Alaska District Manager of Placer Dome U.S. Inc. from January 1990 to December 1995. He has been the Chairman of the Board of SolidusGold Inc. since December 20, 2016. He served as Co-Chairman of SolidusGold Inc. since January 2015 until December 20, 2016. He served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Tintina Resources Inc. since September 2014 and has been its Director since April 30, 2008. He served as Co-Chairman of AsiaBaseMetals Inc. since February 2015 until December 8, 2015. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse served as the Chairman of AsiaBaseMetals Inc. and served as its Independent Director since August 11, 2009 until December 8, 2015. He has been an Independent Director at Alexco Resource Corporation since January 11, 2005, Mantra Capital Inc. since April 13, 2011 and NovaGold Resources Inc. since April 27, 2011. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse has been a Director of Endeavour Resources Inc. since May 1999. He served as the Chairman of MantraGold Inc. He served as Executive Chairman of Tintina Resources Inc. since April 2009 and served as its Executive Director since April 30, 2008 until November 1, 2016. Rick served as a Director of Ely Gold & Minerals Inc. until May 2007. He served as a Director of Inter Citic Minerals Inc. from June 2004 to May 29, 2008. He served as a Director of SpectrumGold Inc.
