Mr. Jeff N. Hunter, MS, has been a Vice President of Technical Operations at Novan, Inc. since 2006 and serves as its Corporate Secretary. Mr. Hunter has been integral to the Novan, Inc.'s execution and operational success since its inception. He directs the operational functions at Novan, including finance, facilities, investor relations, quality assurance and government relations. With more than 30 years of broad business experience, he was Co-Founder, President and Chairman of the Board of C3, Inc. (a.k.a. Charles and Colvard, Ltd.). In this role, he led the C3, Inc.'s successful private equity financing of more than $6 million and an Initial Public Offering in 1997, raising $45 million.

Mr. Robert Alexander Ingram, also known as Bob, has been a General Partner of Hatteras Venture Partners since January 24, 2007 and serves as its Partner. Mr. Ingram has been General Partner and Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners III, L.P. since February 2007. Since 2007, he has been a general partner at Hatteras Venture Advisors III, LLC. Mr. Ingram served as a Special Advisor to Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of SillaJen Biotherapeutics, Inc. He is a Senior Advisor of GHO Capital Partners LLP. Mr. William L. Hodges, also known as Bill, CPA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Aralez Pharmaceuticals Limited. Mr. Hodges has been Interim Chief Financial Officer of Novan, Inc. since March 22, 2017. Mr. Hodges served as the Chief Financial Officer at Aralez Pharmaceuticals Inc. (formerly, POZEN Inc.) from August 3, 2004 to January 1, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President of Finance from August 3, 2004 to March 31, 2016. Mr. Hodges began his career in the pharmaceutical industry with Burroughs Wellcome Company in 1985. In 1991, he moved to London and worked in Group Finance for the Wellcome Foundation, Ltd. Within Group Finance Mr. Hodges worked on mergers and acquisitions and was Regional Controller for Northern Europe and Japan. In 1993, he returned to Burroughs Wellcome in North Carolina as Director of Procurement. Mr. Hodges served as the Vice President of Corporate Planning and Business Support of GlaxoWellcome before being appointed acting senior vice president and chief financial officer for the fifteen months leading up to the GlaxoSmithKline merger in 2000. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pergo, Inc. in Raleigh, N.C. Mr. Hodges received his B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant.
