senior leadership lacks vision. middle management tries to compensate for it but can only go so far. but excel at looking after their teams.
although concept of authentic / social content is here to stay, new customer adoption has slowed down - the fast and winning early adopters are successful, but tier 2 and tier 3 brands are much slower to adopt and need a lot more handholding
