The leadership team seems to be making hires and building out teams so we're more competitive with other agencies, not just web dev shops. That being said, i'm not sure they know how to support these new disciplines they're bringing on.
The interview was much more fluid, allowing me to guide the conversation with my work share and questions. The interviewees did have questions for me, but it felt like they were genuinely learning about me, not trying to challenge me or stump me.
