Mr. Barnaby Harford, also known as Barney, has been Chief Operating Officer at Uber Technologies Inc. since January 2, 2018 and served as its Adviser from October 2017 to January 2, 2018. Mr. Harford has been an Advisor to Kayak.com since 2008. Mr. Harford served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Orbitz Worldwide, Inc., from January 2009 to October 3, 2015. He has extensive experience building and operating internet businesses. He served as the President of Asia Pacific for IAC Travel at IAC/InterActiveCorp, a subsidiary of IAC. since August 2004. Mr. Harford served as President of Expedia Asia Pacific for Expedia Inc. from July 2004 to December 6, 2006, where he launched Expedia's business in the region, leading its entry into China, Japan and Australia and controlling investment in eLong. He served for IAC or businesses acquired by IAC in other capacities since 1999. He joined Expedia as Product Planner in 1999 and Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning, where he played a key role in Expedia's IPO since November 1999. He served as Vice President of New Channel Development for Expedia, Inc. since 2002 and was responsible for building its private label business, WWTE and its telesales business. Mr. Harford served as Senior Vice President for Air, Car and Private label at Expedia, Inc. since 2003, where he was responsible for the airline and car rental businesses for Expedia.com. Mr. Harford served in a variety of roles at Expedia, Inc. from 1999 to 2006. He served in the United Kingdom as a Strategy Consultant at The Kalchas Group. He served as the Chairman of Elong Inc. since July 27, 2006. He has been a Director of United Continental Holdings, Inc. since April 20, 2016 and United Airlines, Inc. since May 2016. He serves as a Director of Orange Hotel Group and LiquidPlanner, Inc. He served as a Director at Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. from January 2009 to September 17, 2015. He served as a Director of eLong Inc. from August 2004 to December 2008. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of LiquidPlanner Inc. since March 2008. He served as a Director of GlobalEnglish Corporation since February 2008. Mr. Harford holds MBA from INSEAD and Masters of Arts in Philosophy of Science and History from Clare College, Cambridge University. He holds Masters of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from Clare College, Cambridge University.
