Mr. Jerry M. Sintes has been Vice President and Controller of Bimini Capital Management, Inc. since joining in October 2007. Mr. Sintes has been Treasurer, Controller and Vice President of Orchid Island Capital, Inc. since August 2010 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Vice President and Assistant Controller of Riverside National Bank of Florida since October 2007. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller of GS Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, Guaranty Savings Bank (also known as Guaranty Savings and Homestead Association) from May 2003 to December 31, 2005. He served as an Audit Manager from 1999 to 2003 and Audit Supervisor from 1995 to 1999 at a local accounting firm located in New Orleans, Louisiana. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Mr. Sintes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
