Ms. Nancy Hillis, also known as Nan, has been Prime Meridian Bank since July 15, 2014. Ms. Hillis has been Strategic Planning Consultant of Prime Meridian Bank since January 7, 2016. Ms. Hillis served as Chief Strategy Officer of Prime Meridian Bank and Executive Vice President of Prime Meridian Bank at Prime Meridian Holding Company. Ms. Hillis served as the President of East Florida Region at BB&T Corp., since July 1, 2006 and served as its Senior Vice President until July 1, 2006. Mrs. Hillis was a former BB&T Region President. She previously oversaw bank operations for BB&T's Central Florida Region, including 57 branches in Polk, Osceola, Orange, Seminole and Brevard counties, with deposits exceeding $2.7 billion. She served BB&T in the central Florida area from July, 2006 to June, 2012. She joined BB&T in 2002 serving mostly as a corporate and community lender. As their city executive in Tallahassee, she later earned the bank's highest internal recognition as a leader and revenue producer. Ms. Hillis has nearly 30 years of financial services experience, primarily as a corporate and commercial lender and has earned BB&T's highest internal recognition as a leader and revenue producer in her city executive role. She is a national board member of the Girl Scouts of the United States. She serves as a Member of Government Relations Council, Florida Bankers Association and serves as a board member, Board of Governors, College of Business, Florida State University. She is also a past co-chairman of the FSU Connect Capital Campaign and a past board member of the FSU Alumni Association. She served as Chairman and board member, board of directors, Girl Scouts of NorthWest Georgia; co-chair, Florida State University Capital Campaign; member, FSU Foundation Development Committee; board member, FSU National Alumni Association; member, board of directors and advisory board of directors, The Bridge (Atlanta, Ga.); chair of task force on Concurrency, Economic Development Council of Tallahassee, Fla.; member, Finance and Stewardship Committee, Trinity United Methodist Church; graduate, Leadership Atlanta; graduate, Leadership Georgia and served as vice chair, Annual Membership Drive, Metropolitan Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. She is immediate past chair of the FSU College of Business Board of Governors. She earned Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Marketing from Florida State University.
