Mr. Frederick H. Graff, also known as Fred, has been the Chief Commercial Officer at Recro Pharma, Inc., since February 16, 2016. Mr. Graff has more than 25 years of experience in commercial sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products. He has extensive experience launching and co-promoting new pharmaceutical products in both the specialty pharmaceutical and primary care sectors, including with partners. He began his career at Rhone Poulenc Rorer where he progressed through sales and field management to key headquarters sales support positions, culminating in his role as Director of Sales, US Cardiovascular Division, leading a 500+ person sales force. He served as Vice President of Commercial Operations at MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since August 2011. He was instrumental in developing a joint commercial launch plan between MAP and Allergan that included product pricing, contract strategy, trade strategy, product positioning and messaging and sample policy. Mr. Graff lead the establishment of a commercial sales organization and develops a U.S. launch strategy for LEVADEX(R) orally inhaled migraine drug in anticipation of potential approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He designed and built a fully integrated sales organization which generated over $1 billion in annual sales revenue. He spent the next 10 years of his career at Sepracor Pharmaceuticals. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., (formerly, Sepracor Inc.) until October 2007 and served as its Vice President of sales. He also spearheaded five sales force expansions over an eight-year period that included the launch of Lunesta(R), a CNS (Central Nervous System) product, into specialty and primary care markets. In addition, he played an integral role on the senior leadership team at Sepracor developing its commercial capability and championing key organizational development initiatives necessary to build and sustain a high performance sales organization. He founded Graff & Associates in 2013, where he provided strategic consultancy services to a variety of life science companies. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
