Mrs. Krista C. Di-Iaconi serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Market Officer of Regency Centers Corporation. Mrs. Di-Iaconi oversees the leasing, development, operations and asset management of 68 shopping centers in Regency Centers Mid-Atlantic and Northeast portfolio, totaling approximately 8 million square feet. She started her career as an accountant for Baker Tilly and quickly expanded to include the functional disciplines of financial analysis, financing, operations, acquisitions, development and leasing through her career at JBGR Retail and a short period at Edens. She served as Vice President of Development at EDENS, Inc. from 2014 to April 5, 2016. Mrs. Di-Iaconi was responsible for directing development for properties in the EDENS's Mid-Atlantic portfolio, including mixed-use developments in Alexandria, VA and Burtonsville. She has more than 20 years of experience in acquisitions, dispositions, development and finance to her role. Before joining EDENS in 2014, she spent her career at JBGR Retail, eventually working her way from an Analyst position to Principal, closing more than $820 million in transactions and guiding the development of signature, urban-inspired, mixed-use projects like Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg, Maryland along the way. She served as Principal of Acquisition & Development at JBG Rosenfeld Retail, LLC and also served as its Senior Vice President since 2002. In conjunction with the principals of JBGR, Mrs. Di-Iaconi managed all aspects of acquisitions and development. She originally joined JBGR in 1994, served two years as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Storetrax, a Web-based retail information service. She is an active member of Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Mrs. Di-Iaconi holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Mary Washington College, an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University.
