Wouldnt wish this place upon my worst enemy sadly. More often than not you are pushed on overtime which is mandatory. And if there is Saturday's sometimes volunteer but most of the time mandatory. Breaks and lunches does not include the walk to the break room so out of a 15 min break your only getting 5-10 mins. They expect you to go everywhere in gods green earth and yet expect you to make productivity. Pay is poor for what they expect of you.
I would get rid of management at my DC. They have no respect or concern for the workers. Our pay is too low, our productivity quotas are too high and the heat in the DC is unhealthy and unbearable . They keep, pushing us and pushing us. We have 2-3 hours overtime every day. It will be a Kira clear if someone doesn't try to get a union in here.
I would change the time off bank to a PTO bank of time and increase from 10 days to 15. This would increase greater loyalty to Rite Aid, above what other retail employers are offering. Rite Aid should always strive to offer better pay and benefits to its employees, not just match what competitors are doing.
I would encourage a culture of learning, while also moving. Unfortunately the job is fast paced. And some are taken aback from the "lack of training". This if I could change one thing about the culture, I would have it more thoroughly shown that fast pace is required.
The diversity of staff, the product availability, and the overall communication of the staff.. Change these things and people are more likely to actually shop there apposed to your competitors, who are mastering where Rite Aid Is extremely lacking.
I would tell the corporate bigwigs to get into the real world and realize that their ideas are outdated...
