Mr. Ross H. Bierkan has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at RLJ Lodging Trust since August 1, 2016 and served as its Interim President and Interim Chief Executive Officer from May 11, 2016 to August 1, 2016. Mr. Bierkan served as the Chief Investment Officer at RLJ Lodging Trust since May 2011 until October 17, 2017. Mr. Bierkan has overseen the acquisition of over 185 hotels, on the RLJ balance sheet across three institutional fund platforms at an aggregate value of over $3.0 billion. Prior to joining RLJ in 2000, he was an Original Member of The Plasencia Group (???TPG???), helping to build TPG into a top-tier hospitality transaction and consulting services firm. While at TPG, he focused on asset management and brokerage for large, full-service assets and portfolios of focused-service assets across the United States, on behalf of clients such as Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, John Hancock Insurance, Prudential Insurance, Starwood and Wyndham. Prior to his tenure at TPG, Mr. Bierkan spent five years in commercial real estate brokerage with Grubb & Ellis Real Estate, coordinating the asset disposition and leasing requirements for several regional and national companies. His experience includes six years in hotel property management with Guest Quarters Hotels in a variety of major markets, from 1982 to 1988. His efforts on behalf of a pioneering, upscale, all-suite brand (now Doubletree Guest Suites) included various management positions. He is a member of the ULI Hotel Development Council and of the franchise advisory councils of SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Hyatt House by Hyatt. He has been a Trustee of RLJ Lodging Trust since August 1, 2016. Mr. Bierkan graduated magna cum laude and holds a B.A. from Duke University in 1982.

Ms. Leslie D. Hale has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of RLJ Lodging Trust since February 2013. Ms. Hale has been Chief Operating Officer of RLJ Lodging Trust since July 2016. Ms. Hale oversees all financial matters, investor relations, execution of all transactions, investment decision-making, strategic planning and risk management. She served as an Interim Principal Accounting Officer at RLJ Lodging Trust from May 25, 2012 to January 2, 2013 and also served as its Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Finance since 2007. She joined RLJ Development, Inc., the Company's predecessor, in 2005 as its Director of Real Estate and Finance and was promoted to Vice President in 2006. She was responsible for the finance, tax, treasury and portfolio management functions as well as executing all real estate transactions. From 2002 to 2005, she held several positions within the global financial services division of General Electric Corp. including Vice President in the Business Development Group and Mergers & Acquisitions Group of GE Commercial Finance and as an Associate Director of Strategic Capital Group at the GE Real Estate. She was an Investment Banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She has been an Independent Director of Macy's, Inc. since January 13, 2015. She is a Trustee of Howard University. Ms. Hale earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA degree with a concentration in Finance from Howard University, summa cum laude.

Mr. Carl A. Mayfield serves as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction at RLJ Lodging Trust. Mr. Mayfield is responsible for providing leadership to the project management team and supervising all phases of capital projects and for physical due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, contracting, and capital execution for all properties. He also provides leadership for all development projects from programming, planning, entitlements, budgeting, and public-private partnerships. Prior to joining RLJ, Mr. Mayfield served as the Project Executive for Georgetown University's 'Southwest Quadrangle Project', a $200 million mixed-use housing, parking, and dining and demonstration fuel cell facility. Prior to that, he managed the MCI Center and The World Bank's Space Efficiency Project on behalf of CarrAmerica. His 21 years of experience in design, construction, and real estate development projects span the spectrum from residential, commercial, sports, and entertainment to hospitality. Mr. Mayfield holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Frederick D. McKalip serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at RLJ Lodging Trust. Mr. McKalip is responsible for providing Day-To-Day legal support for the company's operations. Prior to joining RLJ, Mr. McKalip was a Senior Attorney with Arent Fox, where he specialized in real estate and general corporate transactions. While at Arent Fox, he served as outside counsel since 2002. Mr. McKalip also negotiated franchise, management and other agreements for various properties owned by the Company. Prior to attending law school, he worked as an urban planner for several public and private sector organizations and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. From 1988 to 1990, he was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Rural Primary School Construction Program in Gabon. Mr. McKalip received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia in 1988, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1993 and a Law degree from the University of Virginia in 2000.

Ms. Kate B. Henriksen serves as a Senior Vice President of Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management at RLJ Lodging Trust. Ms. Henriksen is responsible for managing the underwriting process on RLJ's potential hotel and mixed-use investments, tracking the performance of the company's investment portfolios, assisting with capital raising efforts, and managing relationships with investors in RLJ's investment funds. Ms. Henriksen served as Vice President of Investment Analysis, where she was primarily responsible for underwriting and due diligence on potential hotel investments. Since joining RLJ, she has overseen the underwriting on completed transactions totaling over $2.5 billion. Prior to joining RLJ in 2002, Ms. Henriksen served as a Director of Development Planning and Feasibility at Marriott International. In that capacity, she prepared market studies to evaluate proposed locations for Marriott-branded lodging products and financial performance for both existing and proposed projects. In addition, her experience includes consulting on and appraising over $4 billion in existing and proposed lodging facilities for HVS International. Ms. Henriksen graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration with a B.S. degree with a concentration in Real Estate and Property Asset Management in 1996.

Mr. Jeffrey Dauray serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisition at RLJ Lodging Trust and served as its Vice President of Acquisitions since February 2009.

Mr. Thomas J. Bardenett, also known as Tom, has been Executive Vice President of Asset Management at RLJ Lodging Trust since September 25, 2017. Mr. Bardenett served as the Chief Operating Officer of Extended Stay America, Inc. since January 05, 2015 until September 22, 2017. Mr. Bardenett served as an Executive Vice President of Crossroads Select-Service Division of Interstate Hotels & Resorts Inc. since March 2005. Mr. Bardenett began his career in hotel sales and marketing and subsequently joined Interstate in 1988. He served as Regional Director of sales at the Crossroads division at Interstate since 1994 and also served as its Regional Director of operations and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing since 2003. Mr. Bardenett is a seasoned hospitality executive with over twenty eight years of industry experience, worked with Interstate Hotels and Resorts as President of Crossroads Hospitality, its select-service division comprising more than 250 hotels. He has a tremendous amount of industry experience including substantial focus on the operations, sales and revenue management of select service properties. He has been Director of American Hotel And Lodging Association since November 10, 2015. His reputation as a hands-on and results oriented operator is well known within the industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Oswego State University of New York.

Anita Wells serves as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of RLJ Lodging Trust. Anita started at RLJ Lodging Trust in March of 2013. Anita currently resides in Washington D.C. Metro Area.
