Mr. Steve Chang served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Solutions at RMG Networks Holding Corporation since April 2015 until 2018. Mr. Chang was responsible for the strategic direction and expansion of the firm's intelligent visual communications solutions. Mr. Chang was a Principal of Strategy at Sterling Partners. Most recently, he was an Operating Partner and Head of Strategy with Sterling Partners. Mr. Chang joined the Sterling Partners in 2008 and had responsibility for all portfolio companies. Prior to this, Mr. Chang served as a Partner at Prophet, Inc., where he sold and delivered marketing and branding services to commercial clients. He has more than 30 years of relevant industry experience. He worked closely with management and board directors of portfolio companies to identify and implement key growth strategies. Mr. Chang has more than 23 years of brand, marketing, and operations consulting experience across a range of industries including retail, foodservice, energy, consumer, and industrial products and distribution. Through his work with companies such as GE, BP, Cameron International, TGI Fridays, The Limited, and others, he has developed expertise in helping companies build their brands, internally and externally, to capture increased value. Mr. Chang's work includes helping a leading foodservice chain reposition for growth, helping a global energy company penetrate new markets and customers with a differentiated value proposition, and helping a large consumer and industrial business reposition around a broader service offering and branded proposition. Previously he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where Mr. Chang led a variety of strategic growth and performance improvement engagements. Previously, Mr. Chang held senior management roles Accenture. He served as a Vice President at CSC Index, where he helped a variety of businesses increase performance through new go-to-market strategies and organizational restructuring. Mr. Chang also co-led a merger integration program for a growing industrial business that positioned for long-term success. He serves as a Director of RizePoint, Inc. He is also a frequent contributor to marketing and branding articles published in Business 2.0, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Brandweek, POP Times, AdAge, and other publications. Mr. Chang speaks regularly on the topic of brand and marketing strategy at a variety of conferences hosted by the In-Store Marketing Institute, PROMO, Institute for International Research, and Mass Connections. He received an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BBA in Management from the University of Notre Dame.
