Mr. Dwight Arnesen is the Senior Managing Director for Portfolio and Asset Management at Rockwood Capital, LLC. He joined the White Plains office. Mr. Arnesen will lead the firm's Portfolio and Asset Management group. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Acquisitions in North America at JER Partners as well as Interim Head of Asset Management for JER's European funds, where Mr. Arnesen leveraged his earlier experience of workouts and restructuring on numerous troubled assets. He joined JER in April 2008. Mr. Arnesen was a Managing Director of the United States Fund Investment Management and a Member of the North American Investment Committee of JER Partners L.L.C. He was also a Managing Director of the United States Fund Investment Management at J.E. Robert Companies. Mr. Arnesen was a Managing Director of Acquisitions, Co-Head of US acquisitions, and a Member of the Investment Committee at Starwood Capital Group from 2002 to 2008. He focused on all types of real estate investments and developments in North America and assisted the Starwood European team. Mr. Arnesen also participated in the investment of over $3 billion of equity or approximately $12 billion of total investments, and was directly involved in the acquisition and/or development of hotels, office, industrial or warehouse, retail, residential, land, mixed use projects, and marinas. He was a Principal at JPMorgan Partners FKA Chase Capital Partners and a Senior Officer in the Real Estate Workout Group of Chemical Bank/Chase Manhattan Bank for 11 years. Mr. Arnesen was an Associate at Stern & Persicelli. He is a Member of the New York State Bar, the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Arnesen has spoken on numerous real estate panels. He is a seasoned real estate executive who has held senior roles in both acquisitions and asset management. Mr. Arnesen holds a J.D. degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law and a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
