Happy with a successful company that tries to honor employees and offers diversity
I have a decent amount of autonomy in managing my workload
I think they're really looking at innovation to drive insurance in the future
We work well together and try to learn new things, including from each other
Generally good merit increase process. At least I understand the basis for my annual increase
Was made to feel welcome, made me feel like they were also interested in me
We each bring a different set of skills and look at ways to learn from each other
I get to do something I enjoy and it's not as 'stuffy' as many insurance/financial service companies can be
I think that we aren't really good at working remotely as a team. Also many of the teams I work with are silo'd, they don't think about the impact of their work on other teams
We're privately held so we don't have stock/equity, at least not at the individual contributor level. We do get a bonus, but of course the fin services industry isn't particularly competitive. Also, benefits admin has improved, but we still use the terrible EyeMed plan instead of VSP for eyecare
