Dr. Scott A. Snyder, Ph.D. has been Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, Managing Director and Senior Vice President at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. since August 30, 2016. As Safeguard's Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, he is focused on shaping the firm's future technology vision, expanding its innovation ecosystem and helping Safeguard's partner companies fully leverage the new wave of emerging technologies. He joined the firm in August 2016 and previously served as a Member of Advisory Board since April 2006 till August 30, 2016. He is a Senior Fellow in the Management Department at the Wharton School. He is an Adjunct Faculty Member in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He has lectured at MIT, Babson, Duke, INSEAD and RIT on Decision-making, Business and IT Strategy, Telecommunications, Product Design and Development and Business Intelligence. Dr. Snyder cofounded Mobiquity Inc. in 2010 and served as its President and Chief Strategy Officer until August 2016. Dr. Snyder has held executive positions with several Fortune 500 companies including GE, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin. He served as a Vice President at Lockheed Martin and a Director, Advanced Programs at GE. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Decision Strategies International and has also started business ventures in software including OmniChoice.com and Fulton Financial. Dr. Snyder served as Senior Director of Compound Management at BioFocus DPI, Ltd. and was responsible for leading compound management activities. He joined BioFocus in December 2008. Prior to joining BioFocus, he served as Director of Commercial Development at BioProcessors Corporation, Massachusetts and was responsible for establishing collaborative relations with key biopharmaceutical companies. Dr. Snyder worked since 1993 in both operational and business development capacities with biotechnology companies and innovative automation providers, supplying specialist automation systems and services to the life science research industry. He served as the youngest employee at Lockheed Martin Space Sector. Dr. Snyder served as the President and Chief Technical Officer at OmniChoice.com. He has been Chairman of Advisory Board at Mobiquity, Inc. since August 2016. He has been a Director of Fulton Financial Corporation since July 18, 2016. He serves on the Advisory Boards of several emerging growth companies. He serves as Member of the Board of Advisors at Arcus, LLC. He served as a Director at Lockheed Martin. He served on the Advisory Board of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. until August 30, 2016. He leads The Conference Board's Research Working Group on Wireless Innovation. Dr. Snyder is the author of the recent book, The New World of Wireless: How to Compete in the 4G Revolution, released on Wharton Publishing in July 2009. He is a Chapter Author in the books The Network Challenge: Strategy, Profit and Risk in the Interlinked World (Wharton Publishing, 2009) and Inside the Minds: Small Business Growth Strategies: Goals for Successful CEOs (Apatore Books, December 2007) and contributed as a co-author to several future scenario studies including The Future of BioSciences 2020 and The Future of the US Energy Grid 2025 from DSI. Dr. Snyder is recognized as one of the premier system architects. He holds two patents for on-line decision aids and has been quoted as a thought leader in numerous publications including the Los Angeles Times, CIO Magazine, WIRED, Forbes, Knowledge@Wharton, The Wall Street Journal, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Business Journal. Dr. Snyder has over 25 years of experience in business leadership, strategic planning and technology management for both Fortune 500 companies and start-up ventures. Dr. Snyder earned his BS, MS, BSME in 1987 and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering in 1994 from University of Pennsylvania and has an Executive degree from USC in Telecommunications Management.

Mr. Brian J. Sisko, J.D., has been the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. since January 2014 and also serves its Compliance Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Sisko has executive responsibility for Safeguard Scientifics's legal affairs, mergers & acquisitions, support of Board and public company activities and direct participation in its business strategy. He is also responsible for managing compensation programs, performance programs and other human resources activities at the firm. He served as Managing Director of Strategy, Development and Operations at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. He serves as an Adjunct Professor in the M.B.A. program of the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Mr. Sisko served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., since August 20, 2007. He served as the Chief Legal Officer, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Traffic.com, Inc., from February 2006 to June 2007 and also served as its Secretary. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at Halo Technology Holdings, Inc. from March 2005 to January 2006. From January 2002 to February 2005, he ran B/T Business and Technology. From April 2000 to January 2002, Mr. Sisko served as the Managing Director at Katalyst, LLC, where he was responsible for business development and client and portfolio company engagement management. He also served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel of National Media Corporation, at the time a New York Stock Exchange-listed multi-media marketing company. In addition, he was a Partner in the Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at Klehr Harrison, Harvey Branzburg & Ellers LLP. He has been a Director of NuPathe, Inc. since October 23, 2012. Mr. Sisko serves as a Director of AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions, Inc., AppFirst, Inc., Cask Data, Inc., Lumesis, Inc., NovaSom, Inc., and Penn Mezzanine. He served as a Director of Clarient, Inc., until July 14, 2008. His extensive corporate finance business development, capital markets, legal and operational expertise are invaluable assets. He has more than 25 years of legal, operational, venture capital, public company experience in a high-tech setting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic development and working with start-up and growth-stage companies, having served as an executive officer, investor, external legal counsel, internal counsel and consultant. Mr. Sisko has managed more than 20 public offerings and negotiated dozens of mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and business development and financing transactions as a buyer, seller, investor, lender, borrower and issuer, involving billions of dollars of capital. He earned his J.D. from The Law School of the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. from Bucknell University.

Mr. Jeffrey B. McGroarty, also known as Jeff, CPA, has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., since April 25, 2013 and served Chief Accounting Officer since November 26, 2012. Mr. McGroarty joined Safeguard Scientifics in December 2005 and is responsible for the management of its corporate-wide accounting, financial operations, SEC reporting, treasure and tax functions as well as human resources. In addition, he provides guidance to firm's partner companies on accounting operations, valuations, internal controls, accounting and tax issues. Mr. McGroarty served as an Senior Vice President of Finance at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. since November 26, 2012. He served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. from December 2005 to November 26, 2012. He served as an Interim Controller at Cephalon, Inc. He served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Exide Technologies. While at the firm, Mr. McGroarty played a major role in its reorganization and emergence from bankruptcy. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he had management responsibility for domestic and international audits, due diligence, consulting and post mergers and acquisition integration. He is a Board Member of Penn Mezzanine, Inc. and Trustee of People's Light & Theatre Company. He has 20 years of accounting and financial experience. Mr. McGroarty is a qualified CPA. He holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and B.A. degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

Steve Grenfell serves as the SVP Operations of Safeguard Scientifics. Steve started at Safeguard Scientifics in January of 2014. Steve is currently based in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

John Shave serves as the SVP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications of Safeguard Scientifics. John started at Safeguard Scientifics in September of 2006. John is currently based in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Mark Herndon serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Safeguard Scientifics. Mark started at Safeguard Scientifics in September of 2018. Mark is currently based in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Martina Aufiero serves as the SVP & Managing Director, Technology of Safeguard Scientifics. Martina started at Safeguard Scientifics in June of 2016. Martina is currently based in the United States.
