Interview questions and style varies widely department by department. Some groups are more formal than others. I generally found that many people at SPE do not have any formal interview training, so you would get a lot of, "Tell me about yourself?" or "What accomplishment are you most proud of?" To be fully prepared as an interviewee, I suggest the STAR method which is good for organizing responses to typical interviewer questions. Example: give an example of a situation where...,? What was your task/objective? What direct actions did you take? What were the results?
