If you are a female and have a female leader, there is a good chance you will be working twice as hard as everyone else, but still receiving the blame for things that go wrong. You will also find it hard to move up due to cattiness with a female leader. They act like they are afraid you are going to take their job. If you have a family and are in an entry level position or even mid level position and are a woman, there is a chance you will never reach your career goals. You will hear from male (and female) leaders that "You are a wife & mother and we feel like we need to get you into a role that better suits that." Doesn't matter if you work a gazillion hours of overtime to make sure the job is done or to make up for being understaffed, that you are always willing to help and support your team, or if you already do the responsibilities of the wanted position. You will have to fight 2x as hard
