Mr. Kim M. Childers serves as the Managing Principal of Bankers Capital Group, LLC, an investment company that primarily buys and sells notes, a position he has held since 2007. Mr. Childers has been Executive Risk Officer at State Bank Financial Corporation and State Bank and Trust Company since July 2012. He served as Chief Risk Officer of State Bank Financial Corporation and State Bank and Trust Company from January 2015 to March 15, 2016. He served as the President and Chief Credit Officer of State Bank Financial Corporation. He served as the President of State Bank Financial Corporation and State Bank and Trust Company until December 31, 2012. He served as an Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Flag Financial Corp. He served as Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Flag Bank since February 2002 to 2007. Before joining Flag Bank in 2002, he was employed with Century South Banks, Inc., the holding company of 12 banks located in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina, acting in a number of capacities, including regional chief executive officer for the North Georgia Region (which included eight charters and $600 million in assets), Chief Credit Officer and Senior Vice President/credit Administration. He served as Regional President of Century South Bank. Having began his employment with CenturySouth Bank in 1988 as Community Bank President in Fort Valley, Georgia, he served various positions with Century South Bank during his tenure there. He served senior positions with RBC Centura Bank, including Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Flag Bank from 2002 through 2007. He began his banking career in 1986 with Trust Company Bank in Macon, Georgia, where he served as Vice President and Commercial Lending Supervisor. He has been Vice Chairman at State Bank Financial Corporation since 2010 and at State Bank and Trust Company and State Bank Financial Corporation since 2009. He has been Director of State Bank Financial Corporation since January 2010. Mr. Childers holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Georgia.
