Not a bad company to work for but not very understanding to work life balance and its really black and white no one really asks or cares why you have to leave or have to miss more than two days within a 6 month period...the parental leave policy needs to be edited because parents with young children cant get fmla until you work an entire year...if you have children under a certain age there should be some allotted time off because you can't plan for what may happen with them but they're supposed to be here to help life go right...right? Oh I forgot thats only for customers
There is none. With over 1500 employees getting severance notices and external vendors being released, the remaining workforce has to backfill and there's too much work for the existing workforce. New job openings are also being revoked or postponed until after the IT Transformation completes across the analyst, front-line manager, and director-level positions. The only levels not impacted are Executive levels.
Terrible, it is always a battle to get time off. Constantly unable to as we are always"over capacity" And now they are implementing to e cards. Over 5 min. Late we are given points. Flex time gone, having any kind of life, any work ethic is no long valued.
Garbage. We have to put in PTO requests in October for the entire next year, they use a green/yellow/red system and have lockdown weeks, if we fall behind in status there will be mandatory OT and they will tell you what days you’re allowed to work it.
What work life balance? That's a joke. You can't take off day of if you have an emergency come up you find out last minute you need to leave early or you get points. The more points you get, you could eventually be fired.
State Farm is currently restructuring resulting in less tenured employees and a need for more para professionals in urban areas. There are tough attendance policies and seats can not be filled. Staffing is too lean making work very stressful
There is no work/life balance... you are able to call in two times within 6 months without getting points. Hopefully you never have to leave work early or arrive late, otherwise more points.
It all depends on the agent for whom you work. The last agent that I worked for didn't pay you enough to have a life.
There's perfect life balance. (Intentionally spelt out as life balance). Things are changing. Some teams do work really hard than others
Absolutely terrible. Can't get a whole week off. Have to fight to get an entire day off.
The claims area has terrible work life balance. Constantly understaffed and constantly asking for more.
Depends on your dept claims..no work life balance. Other areas are becoming the same.
You better be dedicated to State Farm. The company won’t be dedicated to you
Good, as long as you don’t have something suddenly come up
You take your stress home every day and night
Not really great at all
