
Basic and nothing more than others offer. They've lost plenty of customers and are balancing costs by removing benefits from employees. Cost of living and geographical location differential is all being removed. But executive bonuses have remained the same and are still in place. Employee benefits are only being targeted.
The benefits use to be good but very expensive. If you have to cover a family it will be the cost of a very nice car payment. They now have reduced the benefits for all employees to save money and new employees no longer get same benefits as existing employees.
Expensive health plan with high deductible. Life insurance. Short term disability that only pays part of your pay. Long term disability you pay.
Too generous in today's environment. How many Fortune 50-like companies still offer a defined benefit plan on top of a 401k?
