Mr. Daniel P. Hansen, also known as Dan, is the Chief Executive Officer and President at Hotel Properties, Inc. since June 2010 and serves as its Chairman of the Board since January 18, 2017. Mr. Paul Ruiz, CPA, has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (also known as Summit Hotel Properties, LLC) since April 29, 2014. Mr. Ruiz served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Summit Hotel Properties from May 29, 2014 to October 1, 2014. Mr. Ruiz has over 25 years of executive, financial, accounting and operational experience. He has expertise in finance, accounting, business strategy, organizational operations, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring activities and business transformations. Prior to joining Summit Hotel, he served in senior executive roles for companies in a variety of industries, including real estate and technology. Mr. Ruiz served as the Director of Global Corporate Accounting at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. He began his career as an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where provided audit and business advisory services to entrepreneurial, rapidly growing and Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Ruiz is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Baylor University and graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

Mr. Craig J. Aniszewski has been an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (also known as Summit Hotel Properties, LLC) since June 2010. Mr. Aniszewski served as Manager of Summit Hotel Properties LLC since January 2004. Mr. Aniszewski joined The Summit Group, Inc., in 1997, as the Vice President of Operations and Development. He served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Summit Group, Inc. His primary responsibility was overseeing the operations of The Summit Group's hotels. Mr. Aniszewski joined The Summit Group following 13 years with Marriott International, Inc., or Marriott, where he held sales and operations positions in full service convention and resort hotels. During his career with Marriott, he also worked in the select service sector, holding positions including the Director of Sales and General Manager for Residence Inn and Courtyard branded hotels located in Florida, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina. Mr. Aniszewski graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.S. degree in criminal justice and minors in business and psychology.

Mr. Christopher R. Eng, also known as Chris, serves as Secretary of Summit Hotel GP LLC at Summit Hotel OP, LP. Mr. Eng serves as Secretary of Summit Hotel TRS 079, LLC. He has been General Counsel and Secretary of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (also known as Summit Hotel Properties, LLC) since June 2010. He has been Chief Risk Officer of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. since May 2014 and also has been its Executive Vice President since March 8, 2016. Mr. Eng served as Senior Vice President also at the Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. from May 2014 to March 8, 2016. Mr. Eng is responsible for The Summit Group's legal affairs and for guiding its corporate compliance, focusing on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, franchise licensing, corporate insurance coverage, corporate governance and securities industry regulatory compliance. He served as Vice President of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. since June 2010. Prior to joining The Summit Group, Mr. Eng served as an Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer for The First National Bank in Sioux Falls. Mr. Eng earned his B.A. Degree from Augustana College and his J.D. Degree from the University of Denver College of Law.
