I’m stressed out and feel like I have to walk on eggshells. I hope a positive change in Management and HR happens soon!
This is a very authoritarian environment. There are good people there but leadership is truly lacking. The CEO will always be nice to your face but rip you apart in an email 5 minutes later and is likely to copy several people on said email. Truly not a good overall environment
It started strong, but over the years my friends and direct colleagues have pretty much all left. I've progressed in positive ways, but things feel different and not altogether positive.
I have been there for twenty years and due to changes company made now feel as if my time was wasted as I can not move forward any longer and so I need to find a new career. I feel disappointed in my decision to work at vons and am unsure about starting a new career at this stage in my life.
Of the 4 game dev studios I've worked at, Jam City Burbank takes the cake. It really is that unicorn company they tell you doesn't exist. Its the first company I've worked at where I can truly be myself and not worry about competing with my own coworkers.
