Mr. Edwin M. Martin, Jr., Ned is a Partner at DLA Piper US LLP. He operated from the London, Reston, and Washington offices of the firm. Mr. Martin is a Senior Advisor and SBIC Corporate Secretary at Telesoft Partners. At DLA Piper, his global focus lies on the corporate sector. In the area of mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Martin's experience includes PEC Solutions' acquisition by Nortel in June 2005; Groove Networks, Inc.'s acquisition by Microsoft in April 2005; and Trusted Information Systems, Inc.'s acquisition by Networks Associates, Inc. in March 1998. He is admitted to practice law at the Bars of District of Columbia and Massachusetts. Mr. Martin was named one of the Best Lawyers in America for 2007 and for 2008 in the specialties of Merger and Acquisitions Law and Securities Law. He received an LL.B., magna cum laude, from the Harvard Law School in 1966 and an A.B. in Economics in 1963 from the Harvard University.
