Mr. James A. Stern, also known as Jim, is Founder of OHA Investment Corporation. Mr. Stern founded The Cypress Group in 1994 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Mr. Stern is employed at Oak Hill Advisors L.P. Mr. Stern served as the Managing Director of Lehman Brothers from 1984 to 1994 and served as the Head of the Merchant Banking Group of Lehman Brothers from 1989 to 1994. He spent his entire career with Lehman Brothers Inc. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer at CYS Investments since 2006. During his 20-year tenure at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Stern also served as the Head of Lehman Brothers's Investment Banking, High Yield and Primary Capital Markets Groups and held senior management positions. He served as the Chairman of Affinia Group Intermediate Holdings Inc. since December 2, 2010. He serves as the Chairman of The Jewish Museum and served as its Vice President of Board of Trustees. He has been a Director of R. P. Scherer Corporation since June 1990. He has been a Director of Cooper-Standard Automotive NC L.L.C. and Cooper-Standard Automotive FHS Inc. since May 2007. He serves as a Director of Cooper-Standard Automotive, Inc. He has been a Director at Merchants National Properties, Inc. since 2012. CYS Investments, Inc. since February 2006; and North American Rubber, Inc., since May 2007. He serves as Director of OHA Investment Corporation. He serves as Director of ClubCorp USA, Inc. Mr. Stern serves as the Chairman of Tufts University. He serves as a Director of WESCO Distribution, Inc. He serves on the board of charitable organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Cancer Research Foundation. Mr. Stern received MBA from Harvard Business School and received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
