I am currently on a red line which means 40 hours but you can get as low as 32 and we bid a minimum of twice a year, so sometimes you struggle and I feel bad for people such as my spouse that's also a driver and is getting a minimum of 32 when it's slow even though Walt Disney World as using outside contractors to do our jobs it doesn't make sense to me.
Like any job your leadership is key. I have had great leaders that make it fun, but it is a job. You work outside a lot, its Florida so it's hot. But it's what you make of the job. I have had a great time working with fun people
people are very frustrated because the leaders are not qualified to be leaders and even though our department is number 1 in all of Disney they treat us like we are 5 year olds.
my current bid is a 40-hour Redline which can be adjusted by 15 minutes either way at my start are in time
Hectic. Eight to ten hour days. No time to plan, always putting out fires.
Often it is tense in the hourly ranks. Leadership is also stressed
