Mr. E. Ashton Poole has been the Chief Executive Officer since February 3, 2016 at Triangle Capital Corporation and its Chairman since May 3, 2017. He was its President since July 22, 2013. Mr. Poole was previously a Chief Operating Officer, since July 22, 2013 at the firm. He joined Triangle Capital Corporation in July 2013. Mr. Poole has been a Director of Triangle Capital Corporation since July 22, 2013. Mr. Poole has several years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking and management. Mr. Poole holds M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Douglas A. Vaughn, also known as Doug, CFA has been Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation since October 3, 2016. Mr. Vaughn serves as an Advisor of Sovereign's Capital. He served as Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation since joining in 2008 until October 3, 2016. He served as President and a Director of VIETRI, Inc. Immediately prior to his eight years at VIETRI, Inc., Mr. Vaughn advised business owners and managers, including private equity funds, on strategic initiatives including acquisitions and corporate finance first as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and later as a Partner at Chatham Partners. While with Deloitte, Mr. Vaughn also led an internal acquisition effort for the firm. Prior to his time in management consulting and investment banking, he served in management roles for Sara Lee Corporation, specifically for Sara Lee Personal Products , where he was an original member of the team that established and managed its first division in Eastern Europe including manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sales operations. He has served on a variety of for-profit and non-profit boards. Mr. Vaughn has management experience operating businesses and has served in investment and advisory roles for middle market companies, portfolio businesses and divisions of large multinational corporations. He is a Member of the Young President??? Organization and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Vaughn holds an M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler School of Business and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Mr. Jeffrey A. Dombcik has been Chief Credit Officer and Senior Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation since October 3, 2016. Mr. Dombcik served as a Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation since joining in 2007 until October 3, 2016. He was a Co-Founder and Managing Director at South Franklin Street Partners LLC. Mr. Cary B. Nordan, CFA has been Chief Origination Officer and Senior Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation since October 3, 2016. Mr. Nordan served as Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation until October 3, 2016. Previously, he served as a Principal at the firm. He joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2004 and is responsible for all aspects of transaction sourcing, structuring, underwriting and deal execution along with various aspects of valuation and portfolio management. Mr. Nordan entered the investment banking business in 1997 with Trident Securities, where he worked as an Analyst and Associate in the Corporate Finance Group specializing in investment banking and advisory services to lower and middle market financial institutions throughout the Unites States. Mr. Nordan later joined BB&T Asset Management (BB&T Funds) as a Vice President responsible for research, valuation and portfolio management with a specific focus on small-cap equities. He is a C.F.A. charter holder and former Member of the Board of Directors for the CFA North Carolina Society. He is also a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA(r)) and NASD Series 7 and 63 licensee. He has over 10 years of experience investing in private equity transactions and public equity securities as well as corporate finance transactions including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, senior and subordinated debt placements, recapitalizations and restructurings. Mr. Nordan holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S.B.A. from Appalachian State University, where he graduated, magna cum laude, with a double major in Finance and Banking.

Mr. Steven C. Lilly has been the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary since 2006 and Director since Oct 2006 of Triangle Capital Corporation. Mr. Lilly has been the Chief Compliance Officer of Triangle Capital Corporation since 2007. Mr. Lilly serves as Senior Managing Director of Triangle Capital Corporation. Mr. Lilly is the Founder of the Triangle Capital Corporation, which he joined in December 2005 and served as its and Treasurer since 2006. Mr. Lilly served as a Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at SpectraSite Inc., where he spent six and a half years. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at SpectraSite Inc. from July 2004 to November 2004 and also served as its Vice President of Finance. Mr. Matthew A. Young, also known as Matt, serves as a Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation. Mr. Young served as a Vice President at Triangle Capital Corporation since joining in 2010 and also as a Principal. At the firm, he is responsible for all aspects of transaction origination, structuring, underwriting and deal execution. Prior to joining Triangle Capital Corporation, he was a Principal at Oaklane Capital. Mr. Young was Executive Vice President of Capital Markets for Southern Land Company. He served as a Vice President at Cherokee Investment Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Cherokee Investment in 2004, Mr. Young was the Chief Strategic Officer at AwayMed, Inc., where his primary responsibilities included raising equity capital and directing the development and maintenance of its strategic relationships. Mr. Young has significant principal investing and transactional experience across asset categories. His industry experience includes real estate, information technology and healthcare. Mr. Young received an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Virginia and a BA with distinction in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. James J. Burke serves as Managing Director at Triangle Capital Corporation. He was a Principal at the firm. Mr. C. Robert Knox, Jr., CPA serves as Principal Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President and Controller at Triangle Capital Corporation. He is responsible for finance and investor relations. Previously, he was a Vice President at the firm. Mr. Knox joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the Director of External Reporting at Tekelec. Mr. Knox served as Director of Internal Audit at SpectraSite, Inc. for four and a half years. He started his career in the Assurance and Advisory Services Group of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he spent seven and a half years serving both public and private companies. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina. Mr. Knox is a graduate of Wake Forest University.

Mr. Garland S. Tucker III co-founded Triangle Capital Partners, LLC ('Triangle Capital Partners') and Triangle Mezzanine Fund LLLP in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Prior to co-founding Triangle Capital Partners, Mr. Tucker and an outside investor group sold First Travelcorp, a corporate travel services company that he and the investors founded in 1991. For the two years preceding the founding of First Travelcorp, Mr. Tucker served as Group Vice President, Chemical Bank, New York. Prior to that, Mr. Tucker spent a decade with Carolina Securities Corporation, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer until 1988. During his tenure, Carolina Securities Corporation was a member of the New York Stock Exchange, and Mr. Tucker served a term as President of the Mid-Atlantic Securities Industry Association. He entered the securities business in 1975 with Investment Corporation of Virginia. He was a Senior Advisor at Triangle Capital Corporation May 3, 2017 to January 2018. Mr. Tucker is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and Harvard Business School.
