Mr. Gerald Laderman, also known as Gerry, has been Senior Vice President of Finance & Procurement at United Continental Holdings, Inc. since 2013 and its Treasurer since 2010. Mr. Laderman serves as Senior Vice President of Finance & Procurement and Treasurer of United Airlines, Inc. He served as an Acting Chief Financial Officer at United Airlines, Inc. since August 4, 2015. He served as the Senior Vice President of Finance at United Airlines, Inc. from 2001 to 2010. He served as an Acting Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at United Continental Holdings, Inc. since August 3, 2015 until August 18, 2016. Mr. Laderman was responsible for United's overall financial strategy including cost management, capital allocation and balance sheet optimization, where he oversees corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax, accounting, investor relations, fleet, procurement, internal audit, risk management and corporate strategy. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance & Procurement at United Airlines, Inc. since January 2000 and served as its Treasurer since May 2001. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance & Procurement at United Continental Holdings, Inc. from 2013 to August 3, 2015 and served as its Senior Vice President of Finance from 2010 to 2013. He was responsible for corporate finance, treasury operations (including cash and commercial receivables), risk management, fleet management, tax, investor relations and procurement (including fuel, technical and corporate procurement). He served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Continental Airlines, Inc. from January 2000 to 2010 and from May 2001 to 2010 respectively and served as its Vice President of Corporate Finance from June 1995 to December 1999. He served as a Director of United Airlines, Inc. He joined Continental in 1988 as Senior Director Legal Affairs, Finance and Aircraft Programs. Since that time, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Staff Vice President Legal Affairs, Finance and Aircraft Programs at Continental Airlines. Prior to Continental, Mr. Laderman practiced law at the New York firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed from 1982 to 1988. Mr. Laderman is the Member of Aviation and Portfolio Advisory Board at Republic Financial Corporation. He graduated from Dartmouth College, with a bachelor of arts degree in 1979 and the University of Michigan Law School, with a Juris Doctor in 1982.
