Prior to joining Cameco in 1989, Mr. Melbye held positions at Nukem, Inc., and Arizona Public Service, where he was actively involved in trading and fuel procurement, respectively. He serves as Chair of the Board of Governors of the World Nuclear Fuel Market (WNFM). Mr. Melbye served as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the World Nuclear Fuel Market and holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Arizona State University, with degree specialization in International Business.
