Mr. Paul T. McDermott has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Trustee at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust since October 1, 2013. Mr. McDermott served as Chief Credit Officer and Vice President of Risk Management at Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation since April 2002 and its Vice President of Structured and Affordable Sourcing for Multifamily Sourcing Division from February 1, 2005 to 2010. Previously, he was a Principal with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where he served as head of the Washington region from 1997 to 2002. From 1986 to 1999, Mr. McDermott served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Acacia Realty Corporation. He received an M.B.A. in Finance from the American University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Shepherd College.

Mr. Thomas Q. Bakke serves as the Senior Vice President - National Leasing & Marketing of Equity Office Properties Trust - General Partner of EOP Operating Limited Partnership. He has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust since April 21, 2014. Mr. Bakke is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Washington REIT's real estate operations, including asset management, marketing, leasing, property management and development. He joined Washington REIT with more than 25 years in the real estate industry. He serves as Senior Vice President of National Leasing and Marketing at Equity Office Properties Trust. Prior to Washington REIT, he served as a Senior Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the Market Leader for the Northern Virginia office since April 2013. From February 2007 to January 2012, he served as Market Managing Director for Boston at Equity Office Properties (EOP), a national commercial real estate owner and a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group. At EOP, he played an instrumental role in the growth and development of EOP from a small opportunistic investment company of 5 million square feet to an industry leader of Class A office properties with over 150 million square feet across 35 markets in the United States prior to sale. As the Market Leader, he was responsible for all aspects of owning and operating a $4.5 billion, 12 million square foot Class A office building portfolio in Boston with concentrations in the Financial District, Back Bay, Cambridge, Waltham and Burlington. Responsibilities included: asset management, marketing, leasing, property management, construction, redevelopment, acquisitions and dispositions. Over his 20 plus years at EOP, he held a variety of other senior positions with EOP and its predecessors including Senior Vice President of National Leasing, responsible for all marketing and leasing of the company's 150 million square foot national portfolio and Senior Vice President of Field Operations with responsibilities for all leasing and property operations for EOP's national portfolio prior the company's public offering in 1997. Prior to joining EOP in 1991, he held positions with The Staubach Company and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services (predecessor of CBRE). He spent 14 years in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a former F-14 aviator, attaining more than 1000 flight hours on aircraft carriers with direct involvement in such world crisis situations as the Iranian hostage rescue effort and the Iran-Iraq war. Mr. Bakke is a Graduate of the United States Naval Academy and has an MBA in Finance, attending MIT's Sloan School of Management and Golden Gate University.

Mr. Michael T. McDonald serves as Managing Director of Real Estate Services at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. McDonald is responsible for project management, engineering, energy and environmental services. He joined Washington REIT in January 2007 as Director of Engineering. Prior to joining Washington REIT, he served as President for EMCOR Services (Combustioneer), a mechanical services subsidiary of EMCOR Group. From 1999 to 2005, he served as Vice President & Regional Manager for Building Technology Engineers, where he managed National Accounts and was responsible for Mid-Atlantic regional services. Over his thirteen years with Fidelity Investments, he held a number of roles, including Director of Real Estate. He has also held positions as an engineering officer in the merchant marine (Department of Defense), and LTJG with the Unites States Naval Reserve. Mr. McDonald holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Mr. Wade Drew Hammond has been Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust since July 20, 2015 and has been its Controller since October 2012.

Ms. Taryn D. Fielder serves as a Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust since March 29, 2017. Ms. Fielder is responsible for overseeing all aspects of firm's legal operations and serve as the principal legal advisor to firm's Board of Trustees and management team for matters related to commercial and capital market transactions, securities, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at ASB Real Estate Investments from 2013 to March 2017. Previously, Ms. Fielder was Assistant General Counsel at DiamondRock Hospitality Company. In addition, she spent nearly seven years with Hogan Lovells in their Real Estate Group and several years practicing corporate and real estate law with Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett LLP. Ms. Fielder is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Eckerd College, Inc.

Mr. Edward J. Murn, IV serves as the Managing Director of Development & Multifamily Division at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust and served as its Managing Director and Head of Residential Division since April 1, 2013. Mr. Murn oversees operations, investments and development for WRIT's 11- property, 2,540 unit residential portfolio. His local real estate career spans more than 20 years. Mr. Murn served as Director of Development at The Tower Companies, where he was responsible for prominent metro DC area assets and projects including The Blairs, White Flint Mall and Tower Oaks. He served as Vice President of Multifamily Development with Kettler, Inc. Mr. Murn served as Director of Acquisitions & Development of Northeast Investment Group at Archstone-Smith Trust and Director of Capital Markets at Charles E. Smith Residential Realty, Inc. He began his professional career as a commercial real estate banker in the Washington metro area. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and Johns Hopkins Real Estate Forum. Mr. Murn holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College.

Ms. Susan Lilly Gerock has been Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust since April 2016. Ms. Gerock has over 22 years of management and information technology experience in commercial real estate, manufacturing and retail. Prior to joining Washington REIT, she held various roles at Corporate Office Properties Trust, her most recent serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. She previously served as a Senior Information Technology Director for CarrAmerica and as an Information Technology Director for Archstone-Smith. Ms. Gerock is active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake. Ms. Gerock holds an undergraduate degree from The College of William & Mary and holds a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology degree from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.
