He was responsible for retail banking, marketing, human resources, facilities, technology and operations. He has been Member of Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council at Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Inc., since January 1, 2014. He serves as Member of Federal Advisory Council at Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He serves as a Trustee for Christiana Care, Inc. Mr. Turner serves on the Boards of Directors of the Delaware Bankers Association, Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, the Delaware Chapter of the March of Dimes (past Chairman), the Delaware Community Foundation, the Lincoln Club of Delaware and the WSFS Foundation. He serves as Chairman of the Board of the Delaware Bankers Association and also serves as The Vice Chairman of the Board of the Delaware Business Roundtable, the Executive Committee of the Board of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. He also earned a Master's Degree in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), co-sponsored by The Gallup Organization. He earned his CPA in 1987. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and management from La Salle University, a Master's Degree in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
