Mr. Paul D. McKinney has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Yuma Energy, Inc. since April 19, 2017 and October 26, 2016 respectively. Mr. McKinney served as Executive Vice President of Yuma Energy, Inc. since October 26, 2016 until April 19, 2017. He served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Yuma California from October 2014 to October 26, 2016. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Yuma Energy, Inc., Prior to reverse Merger with Davis Petroleum Acquisition Corp. since October 10, 2014. He served as a Petroleum Engineering Consultant for Yuma California's predecessor from June 2014 to September 2014 and for Yuma California from September 2014 to October 2014. He served as Region Vice President of Gulf Coast Onshore at Apache Corporation since August 17, 2010 until 2013. Mr. McKinney managed new region of Apache's oil and gas assets on the Gulf Coast from Mississippi to South Texas. Previously, he served as Manager of Corporate Reservoir Engineering for Apache from 2007 to 2010. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined Apache Corporation in 2007 after 23 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where he held key production and reservoir engineering posts in Anadarko's U.S., Algeria and Canada operations. He served as Vice President of reservoir engineering for Anadarko Canada from 2001 to 2006, where, he oversaw the reservoir engineering studies and economic evaluations associated with Canada's exploration and development programs, A&D and planning. Mr. McKinney was Principal at Macquarie Tristone (formerly Tristone Capital Inc.). Mr. McKinney joined the petroleum industry in 1983 and served in staff and managerial positions of increasing responsibility in North America, North Africa and Europe where his role included production, drilling and completion operations, reservoir engineering, economic evaluations, exploration engineering, as well as acquisitions and divestitures. He serves on the board of directors for Glenmore Christian Academy. He is a member and was officer of SPE and previously served on the Alberta Executive Policy Group at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and the Industry Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development of the Government of Alberta. He co-authored Advanced Reservoir Engineering, Gulf Professional Publishing, Elsevier, 2005 as well as a technical paper with the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. McKinney has a bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
