I was very poorly trained if at all, but learned to make the most of it as I already had coffee/service experience and could put many of the puzzle pieces together myself.

The questions were relevant and thought provoking.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My coworkers protect and care for one another.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Giving training and constructive feedback. Focusing on good customer experience and good quality products rather than only focusing on "BOH" tasks and beaureacratic work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as though I should get paid more since I have more experience with coffee and have, as a newish hire, already had to step into training roles many times with no extra compensation.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Customer interactions are sometimes brash and usually rushed. My cafe has a culture of not caring about the customer. My cafe lead definitely perpetuates this issue and could set a better example of kindness toward customers.
