it was great until it wasn't. current AGM and person in charge at my former store files and coerces others to file falsified/untrue reports on employees to have grounds for termination. i used to love working there but he has made it miserable.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not being liars who tell people to quit if they don't like them and explicitly stating that everyone is replaceable and nobody is an important part of the team.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The manager that interviewed me no longer works there, but she was very kind and personable. She outlined both the expectations I should have for the job and that they would have for me.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Reestablish guest relationships. We used to have regulars that would come in and ask about managers and service staff by name. That doesn't happen anymore. Table touches are nonexistent until there is a problem and they ask for a manager or the server advocates for themselves and the table.
